boot camp not recognize keyboard and mouse when installing windows 7 pro 64 bit

Hi,


I have some issue when installing windows 7 pro 64 bit using boot camp. after done partitioning the windows drive and when boot to windows installation process, i've got stuck in the first screen when choosing the language. it seems that the keyboard and mouse are not detected.

i'm using boot camp ver. 5.0.

does anyone have similar problem with me?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Restart the computer on Mac, run the bootcamp assistant again, select only the erase Windows 7 and reestablish hard disk, once finished run bootcamp again (without restarting the computer) and select only install Windows and create partition and automatically run Windows installator and "voilá" the mouse and keyboard work.

Are these wired keyboards/mice or wireless? You must use Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5640 on the USB Installer as documented in step 11 in Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support .


Can you disconnect all external storage and run the following two procedures

Hello, ok, i have wired keyboard and mouse, i tryd with the original driver and with the 5640 driver pack too, i tryd under mountain lion, maveriks and yosemite, no one works for me. No other devices are connectet only usb drive with the windows files, the applekeyboard and mouse. First i get e applessd.sys error, but this is easy to fix.
