For at least the past year, I haven't been able to sync my phone with iTunes. It either freezes, or, recently, has been giving me an "Invalid response blah blah" error. I made two threads to no response. Does anyone know how to fix this? Can Apple make software that isn't complete ****?

My mac is about 8 years old. It won't up grade to sierra it keeps say software up to date
11.4 is the current version on iTunes and software on mac is 10.6.8
Devices running iOS 10 can not be synced with a Mac running OS X 10.6.8. You would need to upgrade to at least 10.9.5 to be able to run the current version of iTunes.

maybe you should try uninstalling your itune and download a new one,i just tried it and it started working perfectly
Many thanks for this response. In my case, I have an iphone 6 (10.3.2), itunes (10.2.2.25) and OS Lion (10.7.5) Does the above response also apply to these platforms?
