My Ipod 5 won't turn on! It isn't craked, and it was working just fine yesterday. I tried charging it but it won't turn on. I've had my Ipod 5 for about 7 months. Do I need a new Ipod, or maybe my charger isn't working... Need HELP!

Hello everyone:

So I have a massive problem, my ipod isn't turning on even when I plug it into my laptop.

I wish I could try the method everyone is suggesting with doing the rest by holding the lock and home buttons, however my home button is also stuck and I have tried everything to fix it but alas I never could get it out. I have checked to see if my Macbook is reading it and nothing. I have had this iPod for over a year as well so the Warranty is gone as well, any ideas on what I can do?

Please help:

See what you missed here:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
