iPhoto Sharing Options Greyed Out

I'm running iPhoto 9.4.3 and OSX 10.8.4 on a 2012 MacBook Air. Although I have used the Share menu options as recently as yesterday (I successfully posted directly to Facebook), when I jumped on today to create a shared photo stream all the options in the Share menu were greyed out and unaccessible.

I have tried multiple things, including:

attempting to share from an existing Photo Stream image
attempting to share an old library image
Turning off photo streaming in the iCloud settings in both iPhoto and System Preferences, rebooting the laptop and rechecking the preferences
Deleting and re-adding the email account
Deleting the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file
Deleting iPhoto itself, cleaning out the plist files then reinstalling the app
Running system update and software updates

I'm kind of at my wits end with this, so any and all advice would be much appreciated.

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Go to the System/Internet Accounts preference pane and add your Facebook account there.

I'm experiencing the very same issue with greyed out sharing options in iPhoto, usually a reboot worked, but now, a reboot, and they are still greyed out. I'm running Yosemite.

Success.!

Seeing as a reboot didn't fix this issue today, I thought I would try signing out of my iMac user account, and log in again. This worked, and sharing available again.

Try it, and let me know if it works for you. It worked for me, for how long is anyones guess, but at least I can get back to work now.

Thanks Micky - it worked for me. I went to to System Preferences and logged myself out. Then I logged in again and Ta-D'ah - greyed out sharing options available again. I guess this may have to do with logging into Facebook from a phone etc. so logging out and logging in to your Mac again makes it the device most recently used. Good luck all!
