I contacted my ISP and they say i have to ask the owner of the site to remove my static ip from their site.

Is there a way to remove my ip from the website, It is really annoying as i am being redirected in many sites.

I tried to find the contact details from parking.ps but even the contact option doesn't work it keeps going to the main website.

You described multiple devices having the same problem - it's possible that they are all using the dns provided by a router, or isp - perhaps the same faulty one that Sandy is using.

Try setting DNS to different numbers (use google's to test), either in the router (better, since it would affect all devices), or folowing the previous instructions if on a mac computer

Hi All,

Even I was facing the issue till yesterday. But after lot of struggle I found the solutions and now it is working for me.

Issue may be missing adblock extenstions for the browser.

Simply follow the steps:-

Open Safari Preferences --> Click on extensions --> Switch on (If it is off) --> make sure you have AdBlock 2.6.0 if you dont find it, click on the get Extension at the bottom corner of the window and install AdBlock.

Same for Chrome and Firefox.

Hope this may resolve the issue.

Thanks,

Venkat.

Hello,

For everybody that is, or will be a user of the aforementioned service, we have found the solution and below is a technical explanation of what was causing the problem.

Domain Name: s0.2mdn.net

Somehow, this domain serves an inline SWF movie that loads tracking javascript within videos. That was the domain being blocked by our service and causing videos not to play. Deeper digging reveals that this strange domain is nothing but a CNAME alias for s0-2mdn-net.l.google.com which of course, should not be blocked.

We believe the issue has been solved, Thank you everyone.

Dear Ruslan,

There are current reports of this problem happening now. Could you please take a look here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5286235?tstart=0? It looks like scorecardresearch.com ad network is being abusive by doing a location redirect instead of using pop ups. I recommend you to solve the issue ASAP because it looks like all the money you are spending on campaigns is backfiring by creating your domain a bad name and associating it with malware.

Regards

Hello,

I am aware of the issue, and I have talked to comScore and explained my point of view.

Please check: http://www.bloggernews.net/122771

I have noticed a big wave of scam websites appearing the last few days pretending to sell software that removed the "parking.ps" virus.. ***?! what virus? is there one?! and does it really do all the crap described there?! Those monsters simply created a big buzz of nothing around simply nothing. Parking (PS) is not a virus, just as simple!

We have noticed a big wave of traffic coming from Thailand and India in the last few days. And after initial investigations of that traffic spike, we have noticed that all such traffic is generated from "malware robots" requesting random domain names and trying to connect to where ever their bot herders reside.

There is a service provider called peerblock for tjhose of you who know, where community maintained lists of spammed, zeus bots and other crappy endpoints exist.

menaDNS has implemented those lists in its own engine, to all peerBlock host protection as a part of many other preventive measures taken at our application level. Its not Parking (PS) annoying you, Parking (PS) actually stopped a hit from a bot or some malware, and grabbed the standard (error) page in efforts to monetize that bad traffic. No evil, no viruses, and please do not buy any of those apps to remove the thing. It will not help, and will probably get you into deeper holes.

I will not discuss where are we marketing and how we get our thousands of daily new service users. But can recommend that you stick to an alternative DNS service provider. Use GoogleDNS, OpenDNS, SafeDNS or any of the available alternatives around.

And a final word about popups.. Parking (PS) does not shoow pops.. but when you access a pop window for example from www.adServer.com, it will get blockad and you will see Parking (PS) in the popup window, but it is never Parking (PS) poping-up the window.

Good luck

Hi there,

First, thanks for answering it says a lot about you ;-)

I was already using Google DNS servers as most of the users reporting this issue recently. After flushing the DNS cache the problem went away. My guess is some DNS started spreading a false IP for scorecardresearch host and that was trusted by Google DNS and subsequently cached locally in many computers.

The question is why would someone spread a false IP that points a js that opens your domain. Since you keep answering people on internet, I would guess it wasn't you. So, in my limited knowledge, it's either some of the ad networks or someone who want to discredite your domain.

Anyway, thanks again and freedom for Palestine, it must be hard to operate with all the zionist restrictions :-)

Hello,

Look, while I understand that Parking (PS) might not be the perfect landing page to monetize "default" pages.. I understand that users might see it a little too often. I'd really wish everybody understands how this whole thing works and how is actually protecting you from accessing something that known security advisories like peerblock and cloudflare have already flagged as potentially harmful.

But for really interested gurus let's say, I'd like to share these few screenshots from sources we both know are genuine enough and can be verified. This of yourself as an expert and look at these:

1) Screenshot from CloudFlare at domain resolver level

around 5to1 threat to real user access the service, only 20% of the traffic is the real "you", the real hit your browser needs to ask for..

2) The Thailand Zeus Botnet Traffic

3) Traffic Quality

If Parking (PS) was a hijacker as those lame resources claim, users would've simply clicked back in their browser, or simply closed the page.. The below screenshot shall show what bounce rates and what page visit times our news domain serves, a hijacked hit will never achieve those rates. Please, stop making money from your antivirus program viruses.

4) Cleaned Traffic with Less Threats

This is how your domain traffic will be clean and safe for menaDNS server users. For the little we miss, for that popup you see, use some blocker, we are wotking to solve it. Just get the idea that its not we spam you, its we monetize those spam hits your pc generates while you sleep.

Hope this has some value for someone \ Enjoy the day
