M-Audio Axiom Pro49 cannot be found by Logic Pro X

I jave installed Logic Pro X and I cannot use my M-Audio Axiom Pro controller anymore.

It intermittently controls voluma and pan but It does not show up in the controllers page.

Should I uninstallLogic Pro 9?

Masaiga is right, this works....at least to restore the functionality. Once you download the file (as shown in the video linked within that post), for Axiom 49 Pro, there are actually a total of three files to install in Logix X from two different zipped files.

Now, M-Audio hopefully will still update HyperControl because it isn't fully compliant with the newer features of Logic X, for example, the Axiom 49 Pro's encoders do not automatically map to Smart Controls.

Hello all - I have been using Logic 9 with Axiom Pro 49 for ~2 years, and just recently decided to upgrade to Logic X.....which is what led me to this post :-( Argh!! a painful discovery after-the-fact.

I have been trying the manual work arounds suggested, though, it seems unlike most, I do not have any Axiom bundles in Contents/MIDI Device Plug-ins when showing package contents of Logic Pro (Logic 9). Yet....my HyperControl is works great and I'm able to control plug-ins w/o issue. ???

On another post somebody kindly made these bundles available, so I downloaded and tried to drop into MIDI Device Plug-ins for Logic X and launch.....but no luck. The only controls that work are transports (play, stop, etc). When I go to Setup in Control Surfaces.....I see, well......I'm not really sure. But it looks like this:

I can click on the empty space above the "Axiom Pro" label and white box, and using shortcut menu show inspector info which leads to....

HyperControl is selected as In/Out for ports, which seems correct at least according to Axiom documentation.

Yet.....still no HyperControl with my Logic X. Any other ideas or suggestions????

I Realize this an old post but I'm hoping someone may have asuggestion for me. I've been running an Axiom in Logic Pro x under Yosemite after installing the Direct Link controller files manually as suggested above. I had no problems at all And it worked just great.

Recently I upgraded to El Capitan on a separate drive and installed a fresh copy of Logic Pro X 10.2. I again used the manual copy/paste method to install the Axiom Direct Link files into LPX 10.2 it seemed to work fine. I could go to the controllers page and access it's parameters and all seem well.

Here is the problem:

The first time I hit the play button I received a message that a frame rate of 25fps had been detected and that Logic was using 29.97fps. Would I like to use 25 or 29.97?

I Selected 29.97. Now, when playing back audio, both the speed and pitch of the audio were fluctuating. I tried changing some of the sync communications preferences to correct the issue but that didn't work, so I deleted the Axiom controller from Logic Pro's controller list and that solved the fluctuation problem. The thing is, now when I try to reinstall the Axiom software using the manual method Logic only recognizes the Axiom Pro bundle and NOT the regular Axiom bundle! It's been very difficult finding info about this online other than the description of the installer workaround. If anyone has any thoughts of what I could try next it would be most appreciated! I've spen about 8 hours trying to figure this out today with NO LUCK!
