To answer my own question ( 'cause someone may need it ),

Go To Applications/Logic Pro ( that's Logic Pro 9 ) ctrl+Click Show Package Contents and then go to MIDI Device Plug-ins...

User uploaded file

Copy the 2 highlighted component, Axiom Pro.bundle + Axiom.bundle and go to

/Logic Pro x/Contents/MIDI Device Plug-ins

User uploaded file

and the paste 2 items....

Voila!!!

Everything works like acharm so far... 🙂

Now, I can really enjoy Logic Pro X

Please

Try this way

Having made an installation from scratch, I just install Logic Pro X and

HyperControl Installer run only if Logic Pro 9 is installed, so …

- Open Terminal and write or copy this:

mkdir /Applications/Logic\ Pro.app

- Now you can run HyperControl Installer v1.0.6 64bit from M-Audio Support Site:

http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support.drivers&f=1218

- After HyperControl installation, open Applications folder, right click on Logic Pro (fake)

and select "Show Package Contents" in contextual menu.

Now you can see folder named "Contents" and inside it a folder named "MIDI Device Plug-ins"

- Copy folder "MIDI Device Plug-ins" which contains "Axiom Pro.bundle"," Axiom.bundle" and "Oxygen.bundle"

inside folder /Library/Application Support/

you can do the same with terminal:

sudo mv /Applications/Logic\ Pro.app/Contents/MIDI\ Device\ Plug-ins/ /Library/Application\ Support/

- Run Logic Pro X and add your M-Audio

Remember ( if you make same mistake…)

you can not remove a control surface in setup if you do not enable "control surfaces" in Preferences/Advanced Menu for the moment

my Axiom Pro 61 now is working correctly ….

Please install the following update of HyperControl and it will work:

Axiom_Pro_Logic_HyperControl_OSX_1.0.2-2

this is the previous update from 2010.

This works.. please don't install the latest 1_0.4 update of hypercontrol.

IS ANYONE FROM M-audio listening? I spent 7 hours fixing this sh#t!

Goodluck.

Heres the Link btw, if you want to directly download the 1.0.2-2

Not sure if you have the original Axiom or not but I have the Axiom 61 2nd Gen. If you had Hypercontrol / Directlink working on your MBP why not go back and read the OP's first post in this thread and simply copy the Plug-ins to your new iMac? I know it works because I just purchased a new iMac and copied them over. Also the latest version of Mavericks is 10.9.1 and LPX is 10.0.6. Until there is a fix (doubtful) you will need to copy the Plug-ins after every LPX update. This is a MAudio problem! Not an Apple iMac, LPX, Audio Interface or HD problem. Copying the GB plug-in works in the new GB 10.0.1 as well but you will find it located in a different folder on your MBP.

PS: If your new iMac doesn't recognize your keyboard at all try a different cable. I was using a USB2 extension cable on my older iMac with no problems but it would not work on the new iMac with the USB3 ports. My solution was to buy a USB3 extension cable. Although the Axiom is USB2 for some reason this solved my problem.

You have to make sure that you have the 64 bit drivers and the Axiom Pro/bundle

If you have the Axiom Pro\ you do not need the DirectLink ( I think )...

I do not have the direct link but, I had installed the Hyper Control...

I would uninstall delete whatever I have and re-install everything if I were you....

You can download them here:

Sorry Newbie

axiom air 64 is different from the Axiom Pro 61

try to return to the origin:

in /users/youname/Library/Preferences/

put in the trash logic preferences files:

com.apple.logic.pro.cs

com.apple.logic10.LSSharedFileList.plist

com.apple.logic10.plist

put in the trash:

"Midi Devices plug-ins" forder

And starts Logic Pro X

for now I see the M-Audio driver for Axiom Air 61

Hi Paolo

Sep 3, 2013 2:50 PM in response to paolofromarquata

Another news

I have installed axiom air 61 drive 1.1.0 and move "Midi Devices plug-ins" from fake Logic9.app folder to

/Library/Applicatins Support/

and then run LogicProX and add Axiom Air from control surface menu

but LogicProX seems to have problem with Axiom Air driver

LogicProX crash

To resume LogicProX to normal functionality:

put in the trash logic preferences files:

com.apple.logic.pro.cs

com.apple.logic10.LSSharedFileList.plist

com.apple.logic10.plist

put in the trash:

"Midi Devices plug-ins" forder

And starts Logic Pro X

And wait for an M-Audio update of the Axiom Air driver to work with Logic Pro X

or control this : Axiom AIR 61 Hypercontrol working perfectly on Logic PRO X

perhaps a solution ?
