App Store updates blank

I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

I have a new problem related to the iPad App Store... I want to out Yidio to my iPad. I have installed it on my iPhone 5 with out a problem. I located it in the iPhone App Store using the search function.

So I openned the iPad App Store... search for the Yidio app and it opens the Results window showing two entries for Yidio. I select the first one and I'm greeted with "No Results for yidio". The thing is it is defualting to looking on my iPad not the App Store. So for those saying it's no big deal that the update function doesn't work... now searching in the iPad App Store isn't working for me.

I can't wait to see what stops working next.

same problem here. Apple support solution doesn't work which was basically signing out of itunes and app store, reseting all settings, reboot and log back in. Only thing that solved was wasting my time. Apple continues to disappoint lately. This can't be difficult to fix other then someone at apple paying attention to all the complaints.

More info. I have tried all of the recommended fixes and none of them worked. My iPad still claims there are updates, and the updates screen is blank.

But - I was able to reduce my Update count by one - by downloading an app that shows as purchased, but not is not on my ipad, either because it is only on my iPhone, or it is one that I tried out and deleted.

Resetting iPad then restoring from backup worked. It's been 24+ hours and the App Store update screen is functioning properly. I realize this isn't the approach that some users will want to take but if you have a recent backup and you're comfortable doing this, it does seem to work. I agree with others that Apple needs to address the issue and they shouldn't expect users to resolve by trying workarounds -- this is basic functionality.
