App Store updates blank

I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

Same problem with my iPad. I've got a "2" showing but a white, blank screen. 12 hours ago, it showed a "1". So, I'm communicating with the iTunes store. The updates just aren't showing up.

I've tried all of the suggestions with no luck:

Reset

Turn Location off

Turn time off

More resets

Syncs with my Macbook Pro through iTunes.

More resets.

Just started 12 hours ago.

OK. Finally success.

I opened iTunes on MacBook Pro.

Located all my apps.

Updated all of them on my Mac. (There were like 40 or so that needed updating on the Mac iTunes site.) Waited until Mac was done updating.

Then, Plugged in my iPad to sync with Mac.

It synced. I went from "3" updates showing on my iPad (with the blank screen) to "1" update showing (with a blank screen). The Update Screen on the iPad was still blank, but it now only showed a "1".

Unplugged iPad.

Moved around iPad again and went back to AppStore. Suddenly, TuneIn Radio showed up as the single remaining App on the iPad to Update. It updated normally.

Not sure why that worked and nothing else people suggested worked....

I have the same problem on a 2nd gen ipad. Notificatins were updating, but the update screen was blank white.

As a short-term solution, you can update your apps manually.

From the applications app, choose the adjacent "purchased" tab. Scroll through your purchased apps (mine shows some recent ones by default, but to see the rest, I clicked on the alphabet index on the left).

Apps with updates will show "update" or "installing" instead of "open" (or the cloud symbol for apps not currently installed on the device). Click on "update" to start. If it says, "installing" the update was started but didn't finish. Tapping on the apps icon from the home page (or whichever page) will restart the update for those.

That said, what a pain in the butt (though much easier than other solutions I have seen posted-- deleteand reinstall ALL your apps?! Really?). This should be corrected, obviously.
