App Store updates blank

I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

Add me to the list. It just started happening a day ago. Red icon claiming updates needed on my iPad App Store icon.


Attempted the suggested solutions mentioned above and still have the red alert for updates on App Store icon. Updates "tab" on App Store app is still completely blank.


I also tried a hard reset, deleting history and cookies on Safari, and even tried deleting my iPad iCloud backup and tried to back it up again. I also tried resetting my sync history, reset warnings, and cleared the iTunes store cache.


I am on Windows 7 X64 SP1, iPad 4th Generation 64GB Wi-Fi model on iOS 6.1.3., iTunes 11.0.4.4.


Also, on a strange note that has started happening recently (makes me wonder if the so-called "harmless" hacker that took down the Apple Dev site didn't bury some sort of malicious code or virus that spread to the entire network) that on iTunes under where the apps tab, I keep getting random icons that show up as either black, or some sort of garbled mess instead of the actual app icon for it. I get the same thing on my iPad under when i sync/update apps. GIven just how long it has been the Dev site has been down, it really makes me wonder just how "harmless" that hacker was.

I continue to have the same problem that I did yesterday evening. I'm grateful for all the suggestions, but it appears this is becoming an epidemic--not to be hysterical--for iPad users. It doesn't occur on my iPhone, but only on my 3rd generation iPad. I haven't yet expereinced it on my MacBook Pro. This thread is across several forums, so something must be cooking at Apple.


Although I appreciate knowing about the work-arounds, it seems odd that anyone should have to do anything else but update an app in the customary way--unless, of course, one has an urgent need for an update.


Therefore, given only no urgency in my case, I will wait and see how this unfolds from Apple.

I started having the white screen / blank screen in the iPad App Store Update page 7/26/13 morning. My wife's iPad is doing the same thing. I've tried powering down, changing the date, going to the Purchased page, etc. None of these actions changed the white screen / blank screen on the Update page after doing.


I've keep trying and once today the Update page showed three updates and allowed me to update them. Then later the icon showed needing to update 1 more and I was back to the white / blank screen.


We should not need to jump through hoops to have the functionality I had days before. It is obvious that something has happened on the other end of this pipeline and Apple needs to come out and fix it.

i guess its true, it occurs on my iPad 3rd Gen, my appstore update shows blank page, but my iPhone 4 just fine. it really makes me crazy, i've tried all solution like respring,reboot, reset network setting, change date,change language,change dns to 8.8.8.8, connect to itunes, sign out and then sign apple id, then re-open appstore but no luck, still blank page.
