I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

I am having the same problem- App Store shows 7 updates but page is blank. I tried the suggestions on this thread but to no avail. Updates okay on IPhone but iPad won't work. Any other ideas out there?
Same problem here. None of the "fixes" has helped so far on my iPad 3. I sincerely hope this is a server-side issue....
A workaround is to go to the Purchased tab of the App Store, from which you can find and update individual apps -- and clear the annoying badge!
Same problem here. My Apple Store updates section is a blank white screen on my ipad, even though I have 4 updates showing in red on the homepage App Store icon. All of the suggestions above have not worked. This is very frustrating!!
Is there anyway we can get Apples attention? This is ridiculous! And they should fix it, how can we as a group get their attention in order for them to do something about it?! I don't know about you guys but I am fed up with this.
Same thing with my iPad2. Just started today. Tried all the solutions listed here and some I found through a Google search. Finally reset theiPad and voila--update notice gone. Ten added an app and the stupid red 2 is back. Don't want to reset again--so annoying--because as soon as I add another app the notification will be back. Also--cannot get rid of videos. Grrr, this thing worked flawlessly until the last couple days! Hey Apple--get the fix out there!
...frustrating indeed. Having the same problem—badge showing update, but update page blank—since yesterday (25JUL) on my ipad3. Very annoying; I hope we all get resolution soon!
I'm in the same boat with you. We need to get Apples attention! If anyone out there can get Apple support in this thread please do. I am so done with this.
Have had issues updating iPad for past three days. Same as everyone else. Apple please help us! iPhone updates fine.

I have had this issue with my iPad mini and have tried all of the fixes stated in this thread. None have worked. I have an iPhone 5 with no problems. My wife has an iPad 3Gen and a iPhone 4s without this problem. After seeing all of the above responses, it has to be an Apple App Store problem which needs fixing soon. I am worried that I will not be getting any of my app updates when they are issued. All of the other buttons, Featured, Top Charts, Genius, and Purchased work fine; however, Updates is broken.

Mathlad, thanks for your suggested workaround that Kravlor gave; however, none of these worked for me. I do not seem to have any apps that need updating even though it says I have one. The only thing I get under "Updates" is a blank screen and no statement that all apps are up to date. It seems to be frozen.

I tried iTools 2013. Still no help. BUT--did show me one app that needed updating (did that but keeps showing it needs to be updated) and then also showed 7 more that needed to be updated. Tried to do that but NADA.
I think the updates section of iTunes is broken.
I'm having the same issue. It's pretty clear something is going wrong server-side. Apple will of course never admit that, but I hope they at least get it fixed sooner rather than later.
