App Store updates blank

I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

Add another user. Thought I was losing my marbles as well. Have tried all the suggestions but still the update screen is blank with the App Store icon indicating updates available. All the other functions seem to work except updates. iPad 4 with iOS 6.1.3 installed. At least I feel slightly better in that its not just my iPad doing it...

-Went to App Store

-Went to purchased

-Started with [ipad] in the upper left and went through each letter to update any apps that said "update"

-Switched to [iphone] in the upper left and went through each letter to update any apps that said "update"

*****You have to select each letter otherwise you are on the most recent app option on the left and you won't see all available updates*****

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to see 2 updates (out of the 4 badge notifications showing) using Juanplanner's method. So the I was able to get a partial fix but it's not a complete fix; I still have 2 update notifications that aren't showing up with Juanplanner's method or on the update tab. To me, the bigger issue is that we should not need to use a workaround for something that, up until a few days ago, was working fine.

I am having the same issue on my iPad 3. Not happening on my iPhone 5 though. Apple is really ******* me off lately with the lack of urgency they have for code defects. iTunes Match still changes explicit songs to edited versions and they still haven't fixed that and it's been going on for a year now. Also, the keyboard shortcuts only work 50% of the time and its so frustrating. It defeats the purpose.

Here is a work around to get your apps updated:

1. Open App Store

2. Select Purchased

3. Tap on the A at the left to start with all purchased apps with the letter A

4. Scroll down through purchased "A" apps and look for UPDATE next to the app instead of OPEN.

5. Continue through alphabet until you've found all apps to be updated.

NOTE: When you open the Purchased tab in the App Store, the default view is Recent purchases, that is why not all your purchased apps show up initially.

Hope this helps!?!?
