App Store updates blank

I went to the App icon. Then I clicked on "purchased" at the bottom. Then I clicked on "all". Then I went through all my apps, A thru Z and found the ones that needed updating, there were 5. Then I closed out of the App icon and no more apps that needed to be updated showed up. Will have to wait and see if it happens again. At least I know how to update them if it does happen again.

A couple of tweaks for this workaround:

For people who have the same apps on both their iPads and iPhones, you can check your iPhone to see which ones need updating. Then, instead of going through all the apps under a particular letter in your Purchased list, do a search for them in the App Store. The app's main listing will allow you to update and give you a list of the changes they've made as well.

THANK YOU!!! This has been driving me nuts. I hope Apple gets this bug fixed....it is really annoying. Updates should improve functionality not WORSEN it.

Add me to the mix, same problem with my iPad as well as random apps appearing that I have NOT purchased.

Same problem. I can sometimes get it to go away by resetting, but it always comes back. Hopefully Apple issues a fix soon!

I tired everything hère, but finally solved it by switching langage In settings to french. Will switch back after updates finish

Same issue here.... notification says I need 13 updates, blank App Store Update screen. Definitely an Apple issue.

Something is wrong with the app store. If you want to see what apps need updating, go to your purchased apps. It will show all of your apps and identify which ones need updating.

Same thing here...I show 3 updates but blank screen. Tried all the troubleshooting items on this thread and still the same. This just started happening so my guess is its a bug that Apple needs to fix and send out.

Just adding my voice to all of the previous responses. Same thing happened to me7/25 and none of the fixes work. (I've done the letter-by-letter update in the "purchased" list, but that's not a fix, just a bandaid.) Also still have the residual unidentifiable updates showing (2 in my case) on the icon.

Given the large number of people complaining, I clearly am not alone in my frustration. None of the suggestions work for me. I guess there's nothing left to do but wait on Apple.

All of my IPADS, 1,2,mini, blank screen on updates. All suggestions listed tried. Manually searching for and updating apps works fine just tedious. Seems to be an epidemic fail for Ipad update screen this week.

Add another Ipad mini to the list, I fixed it last night with the Automatic time zone solution but this morning got I got the blank screen again with no solution working anymore. Please help

A "Weather Radar" application must have been hanging on update.
