I don't know how this worked, but frankly, all I care about is that it DID work! Thanks for the weird-but-working solution!

 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player Storage

and click

Block all sites from storing information on this computer

Close the preference pane. If this action solves the problem, please post your results.

Restart your computer and you should be good to go!

1. Disable iCloud.

Go to System preferences > iCloud.

Disable all features in the right, and sign out your account.

2. Repair permissions.

Launch Disk Utility, choose bootable partition, and switch to First Aid section.

Run Repair Permissions on that volume.

3. (Clear caches).

It is not necessary but I think it would be useful.

You'll be able to do this by using one of the common maintainance applications, like CleanMyMac.

You can also do this using Terminal, but I'm very goot at it.

But you can google of cause, how to clear user/system cahes on mac.

4. Restart system.

You'll do it without my help)

5. Enable iCloud.

Do exactly what you did in the beginning but in reverce orger.

Login to Messages.

I can't guarantee it will work. But in my case (I don't have Flash installed) it has helped.

Good luck!
