Again, you are probably right.
From the article by Lex Friedman, Jun 12, 2013 11:16 AM
"One of Apple’s other Siri announcements during the WWDC keynote related to its newfound integration with Bing."
But it is possible that Friedman, or the folks at WWDC are full of hot air. The ad ware is the problem that caused me to write. But the problem is larger than just my one computer. As your own website so aptly champions boycotts of those who distribute the problem you helped me solve, I am sure you don't view these problems as hot air. They are real. As are the benefactors of these tactics, Bing and others. Or in other words, Microsoft and Apple. How do you think those you boycot derive profit? I suspect they are paid by those they serve.
I fixed my immediate problem with your help. You are making an effort the fix a larger problem by stopping the distribution of the adware. I am suggesting there is another level of evil at play, namely those that pay the dristributor. Two of many, whom we might suspect.
But then, you and I may be engaging a foe, you with your assistence to many and an effort to boycot, and I with my placement of blame, that doesn't really exist. But than again, you have hard evidence, and I see motive.
