What amp are you using? Is it a DAC and AMP or just an AMP?
Im looking for a setup that can handle Lightning to a fiio e07k or iBasso sidewinder.
Do you have any reccomendations?
I'm not sure about the cheap lightning to 30-pin adapters, but the Apple one's have a built-in Wolfson 8533 DAC.
Cheaper ones may use a lessor quality DAC.
I use an Apple lightning to 30 pin adapter, and then a Fiio 30 pin to lineout adapter to get to my headphone amp.
So let me just check the best way to use the Fiio E11 is to use an authentic Apple lighning to 30 pin adapter and the Fiio L9 linout?
Is there a large difference in sound quality using the Fiio E11 when plugged directly into the 3.5 mm headphone jack in an iPhone 5 compared to using the set up i listed above?

The 30 pin adaptor also works with the srs iwow 3d.
Yes, there is a huge volume and amplified power difference using line out. Sound quality difference is somewhat subjective probably, but there is no getting around the fact that my Fiio E11 amp drives the Sennheiser's better and help them sound great
