Can power supply for Mac Mini PowerPC be used in Mac Mini Intel?

I have an older PowerPC Mac Mini that I have dug out of the closet for an application I have to do. However I found out that the software I need to install on it requires an Intel based Mac Mini. I found one on eBay cheap, but it didn't come with a power supply.

The connector on the back of it is identical to the power supply from my older PowerPC Mac Mini, so when it arrived I plugged it in and tried to start it up.

Nothing. No sound, no noise of a fan, nada. I think its just not getting power.

I checked the power supply on the older Mac Mini I have and it worked just fine there.

So my question is.... Does the older power supplies for PowerPC based Mac Minis work in the Intel Mac Minis, even though the connector fits? If not, I'll just have to order a specific power supply but if that is the case, can anyone tell me the exact model I need to get so I can power this machine up?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I just did some Googling on this and although there isn't anything definitive that I found, what I did notice is that the 'original' Mac Mini power supplies for Intel Duo have a 110W supply, but it appears that the PPC supplies are only 85W. This might be the reason why its not working. I found a guy on eBay with some 'original' power supplies for Intel based Mac Minis. I'll get one and give it a try. Hopefully that will solve this.
