AirPlay icon missing in iTunes 11.0.5 - Windows 7

The AirPlay icon in iTunes 11.0.5 is missing. I am currently using a DELL latop running Windows 7

Does anyone know how I can get the AirPlay icon back?

I have tried the fix with the mini player and it did not fix my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When u will use ipV6 , you have to setup your router and lan/wifi in ipv6 mode. Then bejour pass sound through ipv6 but when you use 2 mode ( ipv4 & ipv6 ) together benjour gets confuse some time it pass through in ipv6 and sometime ipv4 .if your router setup is ipv4 then when banjour pass sound through ipv6 you will not see airplay button in itunes.

Remon,

I dont have any of these issues when I am on a Mac and using all Mac products. This issue happened because I updated the iTunes software on a PC running either Windows Vista or Windows 7. I am not sure when the AirPlay icon disappeared... either after a Windows update or the iTunes update. All I know is when I went to the Start menu on windows and typed in config... I went through all the items that were checked... and I noticed Bonjour Services was no longer checked. Once I checked it.... I WAS BACK IN BUSINESS SHOOTING MOVIES TO MY APPLE TV WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS PIECE OF ______ PC

Same problem -- icon for AirPlay disappeared in iTunes.

My solutions sounds a little different from what I've read.

You mentioned Bonjour, so I went to Task Manager --> "Services" tab --> lower right "Services..." button.

Found Bonjour Service in listing, then using commands toward upper left, stopped the service and restarted the service.

Opened iTunes (without even restarting PC) --> icon back where it belongs.

I am running OSX 10.9 and the Airplay icon also disappeared from iTunes for me.

What I found worked was going to:

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Firewall Options > "+" at the bottom of the list of allowed applications, then select "iTunes" from the Applications folder > Add.

(My firewall is On, I dod not check the "Block all incoming connections" or the "Enable stealth mode" boxes, but I did check the "Automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections" box.

I restarted iTunes and the Airplay icon appeared.
