What are the settings to have Notes on iPad synchronised to Notes on iMac?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
How trivial it may sound:
- Turn WiFi off on your mac,
- Turn WiFi off on your iPad
- Turn WiFi off on your iPhone,
now
turn them on again.
It updates both iPhone and iMac.
.... and you have isolated the problem. Although I only have Notes on iCloud on the iMac, I have Notes on CantabIMAP and on iCloud on the iPhone, and on CantabIMAP and on From My PC (I also use a Windows notebook) and on iCloud on the iPad. I have only a vague recollection as to why I had all these set up. I suspect because I have a healthy distrust of putting any information on a server which is not under my ownership and control.
... and finally gave up and added iCloud when I bought a dsektop iMac earlier this year.
Why don't Notes synchronise between Mac and iPad?
