How do I transfer voice memos into my iTunes account?

I have voice memos on my iPhone, but they don't show up on my computer in my iTunes account. I don't want to sync because I'm afraid I'll lose them. How can I get them to show up, or load them into my iTunes account?

Hello all ya out there,

I have discovered a work around for the no transference of Voice memo’s from iPhone to iTunes on MBP

In the past with different model iPhones I got transfer.

Then 5s would not transfer.

I needed to translate the recording to text, but could not get the VM to transfer to iTunes.

However using iMessage and the Voice Memo app when in any particular VM file there is the option to manipulate where you can “share” the file.

My file was larger than my ISP allows as a single shot transfer 20MB, so I then had to trim the file in the VM app to a usable size.

Sent the 3 segmented files separately through iMessage and received them in turn on the MBP by sending it to myself.

I can play the three separate in turn through iTunes.

A longwinded workaround but it suffices for my purposes as a student trying to get a “simple” solution given the constraints that arise in the experimental process of seeking such a workaround.

Also I noted that the REALplayer app suggested that one could create a speech to text conversion and have a text file for future reference on the MBP, but I could not take up more time to find why I didn’t get that functionality to prevail for me.

Hope ya gays/gals see a way clear to get that illusive VM transfer to work for yhes all !!!!

Ok after spending literaly hours on this,I found the answer for me.Itunes did not like the voice memos I had because they were older(a few months), so someone said to go back to the voice memo in your phone and trim it by 1 second then save it as a new voice recording. It will say "copy". then go back to iTunes, click your device at the top right on the menu bar, click music to do sync. The only thing that should be checked off is "Sync Music" and "selected playlists, artists, albums amd genres".Do NOTcheck "include voice memos". Hit apply or sync at the bottom. When done, click on music(music note) at the top left corner, then go to albums and type voice memo in the search and it should come up. I hope this works for you!!!
