Wrong Apple ID in my iPhone iCloud

I have a new Apple ID as I had to change email addresses. This I have changed on my MacBook Pro.

On my iphone, when I go to iCloud, account details, it shows a different (old) Apple ID.

How can I change it to the correct one?

I don't seem to be able to cancel or change the wrong Apple ID on my iphone.

This is incredibly frustrating.. I've signed in and out.

I've never used the other email it keeps asking me for... I think it's my sisters... and I think she once plugged in her phone onto my computer to charge it.

Randomly, after buying a new iphone, I have her email coming up as the apple id for some of the applications. I have never used her ID, never jail broke this, or anything like that. I have no idea what her account is.

Is there a while to completely stop this? I have tried following the directions... but no where on my phone does it have her account... signing in and out doesn't do anything... restarting. Nothing.

I purchased every application using my own credit card and my own account information.

I had this same problem with my new iPhone 5S. If you DO NOT have access to your old email address, this is what you should do... (It's quite a simple fix)

Go to appleid.apple.com and click "Manage Your Apple ID"

Login with your CURRENTLY ACTIVE Apple ID cridentials

Under "Apple ID and Primary Email Address" click "Edit"

Type in your old Apple ID

Click "Save Changes"

From there you have reset your Apple ID login to your old address.

On your iPhone/iPad you may now use this old Apple ID and your current password to sign in so that you may delete the account on your device and then reactivate with a new Apple ID. You will then want to go back to your appleid.apple.com account and change your primary email address back to your current email address. By doing it this way, you are not required to verify your email address, but are still able to accomplish what you would like. It worked perfectly for me, as I no longer have access to my old email address. I hope that this helps!!

I had the same issue and jymuller1's solution worked. I went to appleid.apple.com, signed into 'manage your apple id'. I only changed my primary email address to the old address that iCloud was still using (nothing else) and clicked save changes. I did not need to verify this and even stayed on the same screen. I then went onto my daughter's ipod touch, tapped delete account, entered the my current password and it worked. I then went back on my PC, changed the primary email address back to my current email and hit save changes. This time I did verify the account using the email that was sent to me. I was then able to go back on the ipod and sign into iCloud with the new email address. Awesome!! Thanks!!

I found a quick and easy solution with the helpf of apple CS. Probably would get the same positive results as some of the other suggestions but just in case. CS had me log into the "iforgot" web page,

iforgot.apple.com. I entered the apple ID that I wanted to get rid of and was able to immediately enter the new ID I wanted and an associated password. Took care of my problem.
