Can I buy the new iPhone 5S in Germany and hold the warranty for in Belgium?

I want to buy the new iPhone 5S in Germany. Is there a problem when I use the iPhone in Belgium? I heard there is always a worldwide limited warranty of 1 year. Is this correct?

There is NO world wide warranty on iPhones (or iPads)

However Apple treats the EU as one country for warranty purposes so a German iPhone is covered in Belgium

@Jonas, whatever I say and have experienced myself bleaches to nothing when wjosten say it is different! wjosten is the absolute expert in these iPhone things!

thus you can go to Oberhausen (or one of the others in DE) and buy an unlocked iPhone, and bring it to the Apple Store in BE (there is one only) in case of problems, and they are responsible for the warrantee.

Perhaps the Apple Store in Luxembourg is even cheaper than DE.

@Peter, I apologize, but promise me to spell my name correctly😊
