I did a factory wipe and then restore from my iCloud backup that I did right before I wiped it. Worked like a charm.
did you use the backup from before the IOS7 update? or did you back up the phone after you updated ios 7??
The backup that I used was literally made right before I reset it. It was after I had upgraded to iOS7.
Do you know if the same applies to using a 5th gen iPod touch?
Awesome, thank you very much! Resetting the phone and restoring the backup solved the issue.
Hard reset worked for me try it
I wish it did for me :/
Guys follow the instructions. It asks you to connect the phone to itunes to use push notifications. Just follow the instructions. You don't need to restore or reset the phone. Just connect to itunes and do a sync
Obviously, it's not that simple for some of us.
I had the same issue after installing iOS7 on my iPhone 5. Did a backup (at the new iOS7 level); did a factory restore; did a 'Retsore from iTunes backup" when the option arose - all seems to be working.
Here is the same, Waiting for activation, when they're gonna fix it ?
I also backup up my iPhone 5 to iTunes, made a complete factory reset and a restore from iTunes. Finally Push Notifications are working again. Thanks to all for that helping postings.
Restored my phone last night, imessages and notifications started working immediately after.
am i the only person that none of this is working for? doing my nut in
No man, i did all the same thing and nothing happens, exatly the same but nothing changes.. still not working the imessage...
