iTunes Match issues on iOS 7

I have been using iOS 7 since the release of the GM. Overall, I love it - however with the music app, specifically with iTunes Match I am very dissapointed as the usability, for me has gone quite backwards.

Firstly, I have some artists in my collection with vast ammounts of albums (Grateful Dead, Phish, etc). With iOS 6, accessing those artist's albums was instantaneous. In iOS 7, it takes approximately 10-15 seconds from the time I tap the artist to being able to view the albums. When trying to return to the Artists tab, it will also hang for at least 10 seconds.

Second, once within the albums of a particular artist, there is no longer the alphabetical slider along the side which allows me to quickly scrub through the albums. When there are a lot of albums, scrolling manually through every album (and song) is quite tedious. I honestly can't believe how much of a step back this is. Albums no longer are listed alphabetically, now they are listed based on release date.

These issues have me wihing I coud go back to iOS 6, even though the rest of the new interface is great. I can't believe how much worse the music app is now. I can't believe no one at Apple has a music library containing artists with large discographies.

If there isn't a fix to these issues, I will have to cancel my iTunes Match subscription because it is simply too frustrating waiting for things to load and not being able to browse albums efficiently.

If anyone is aware of a fix, or is also frustrated by these issues, please let me know.

I'm also having a ton of issues. I went through the "Loading iTunes Match" phase for what seemed like forever, and my library isn't even that large at somewhere between 3,000-4,000 songs. That said, after it finally got through, it showed as missing a ton of my album artwork, which was a huuuuuuge blow, because I spent a lot of time getting my library's artwork to play nice with iTunes Match. I've always had artwork, and manage my music very meticulously. But I had to jump through a ton of hoops when Match initially came out. I don't want to have to do this all over again because of iOS 7...

Listen guys, it's not a library size issue.

About 2-3 months ago, I deleted all my music library cause I wanted to start fresh.

I now have 245 songs in my Library on my Mac and I have the exact same problem on my iPad since I upgraded to iOS 7.

I did all the normal troubleshoot, turned iTunes Match off and on on both iPad and Mac, even factory reset my iPad and still the issue persists.

One thing I noticed, in my Mac iTunes, there is a little cloud icon moving, next to the choose of source (music, movies, podcast, etc..). It moves and moves forever, any left or right click on it won't do anything.

Again, I have 245 songs on my Mac and on iTunes Match, so library size is really not an issue here.

I'll go with everyone else, let's hope this is a busy server issue... Or a bug they didn't notice and will be fixed soon..

Let's all remember that we pay for this service.... Its disappointing..

the itunes match seems to be not working at all, both in iTunes and music app on my ipad. I've recently (June) deleted all the music I add on itunes Match because I was reaching the limit of songs, and added only a selection of my best tunes. Still, on my iPad with the update I see both the deleted albums and the new ones, despite I am only able to play those that I've recently uploaded to iTunes Match.
