iTunes Match issues on iOS 7

I have been using iOS 7 since the release of the GM. Overall, I love it - however with the music app, specifically with iTunes Match I am very dissapointed as the usability, for me has gone quite backwards.

Firstly, I have some artists in my collection with vast ammounts of albums (Grateful Dead, Phish, etc). With iOS 6, accessing those artist's albums was instantaneous. In iOS 7, it takes approximately 10-15 seconds from the time I tap the artist to being able to view the albums. When trying to return to the Artists tab, it will also hang for at least 10 seconds.

Second, once within the albums of a particular artist, there is no longer the alphabetical slider along the side which allows me to quickly scrub through the albums. When there are a lot of albums, scrolling manually through every album (and song) is quite tedious. I honestly can't believe how much of a step back this is. Albums no longer are listed alphabetically, now they are listed based on release date.

These issues have me wihing I coud go back to iOS 6, even though the rest of the new interface is great. I can't believe how much worse the music app is now. I can't believe no one at Apple has a music library containing artists with large discographies.

If there isn't a fix to these issues, I will have to cancel my iTunes Match subscription because it is simply too frustrating waiting for things to load and not being able to browse albums efficiently.

If anyone is aware of a fix, or is also frustrated by these issues, please let me know.

iOS 7 GM and iTunes Match has worked fine on many a device prior to the release yesterday. My iPad and iPhone are 2 of them, along with my MacBook Pro.

And my iPod Touch with iOS 6 is also having an issue. It didn't have iTunes Match turned on because I too have had problems in the past. I just tried to turn it on, and it's borked.

In my update to iOS 7 and turning match on for my iPhone 5, the only problem I ran into was cover art failing to download. It turned out the cover are failing to load was for songs my iPhone thought were already on the device, because I restored from iCloud after the update, but never synced to my computer to put the songs back. So the resotred Music settings listed 2500 songs on the device, even though they weren't on there. They showed in the library and everything, but wouldn't play. When I turned on Match, they would play (from the cloud of course) but no cover art, because it was supposed to be there locally, except it wasn't.

Turned off Match, deleted the data from the Music app, turned match back on, and everything worked perfectly. I've been testing playcount syncing and Last Played syncing from my iPhone 5 and iPad, as that is something that has notoriously not worked reliably or correctly in the past (and is the reason why I wouldn't use Match in the past) and everything worked flawlessly until sometime after 7pm last night.

That's just my case and my experience, but my opinion is it is an Apple issue server side, not something to do with the updates themselves.

Question: Does everyone having issues have "Limit Ad Tracking" turned on?

I have been trying to figure this out for a few hours. Plugged in my phone to Xcode to watch the log for anything special. Kept seeing issuse for ad tracking when I went to load up iTunes Match.

I turned off "Limit Ad Tracking" and now iTunes Match is working. It's still loading all of the artwork, but the music is playable now. It did take awhile to load up, but the differance was a visible network activity indicator, "spinner" next to the wifi indicator.

I am having the same issue on two of my Macs as well, so I turned off "Limit Ad Tracking" on them as well, and I'm waiting for iTunes Match to show up.
