Recently updated to IOS 7. Data and MMS is not working with Straight Talk. I currently have an Iphone 4S and everything was working up until I updated my phone. Any solutions?

I followed the basic SIM swap directions that goalpdl1 provided, but used the settings that Mac Man No longer in Japan provided. After I updated my IOS software again to 7.0.3, the APN settings from my first SIM swap was gone from the previous sim swap method. So I had to update the settings again by doing the SIM swap and it still worked fine with the new IOS update--using the settings provided by No longer in Japan.

However, since this post, I recently updated my SIM card to a newer one. My previous SIM was over 1.5 yrs old. With my old ST SIM, I had to use the UNLOCKIT APN settings for data and chose the APN for the old ST settings, because the APN for the newer settings did not work with my old SIM. But, with the newer one (purchased 10/25/13) I found that I do not need to use the UNLOCKIT APN changer to use data. The SIM swap alone works for the MMS and data. With the newer SIM, I did have to use the original APN settings information provided by goalpdl1 for this newest SIM swap.

Overall, with my old sim, goalpdl1 settings did not work, but Mac Man no Longer in Japan's did. But with my newer sim goalpdl1 settings worked and I do not need the APN changer for my data usage.

I have been using the original AT&T SIM for Straighttalk, but was getting tired of doing the SIM swap every time they updated the settings. Just purchased the "new" AT&T SIM from Straighttalk. Followed the directions for changing to a new phone (they consider the SIM as your phone in the BYOD program). Installed the Straighttalk data settings as their directions say and I have all data to include MMS working. No more SIM swap needed. It was well worth the few dollars for the updated AT&T SIM.
