Anyone else having battery issues since updating to iOS 7?

Yes.upgraded to ios7 and it went from 80% to 1% in less than 10hrs without heavy use. I usually go 2 days between charges. I watched it drain 2% in 5 mins at one point. I switch as much eye candy and services off as I could. Drained just as quickly.

Me too having the same issue after updating my iPhone 4S from iOS 6.1.3 to 7.0. It drains very very quickly and takes much time to charge

Same problem with my Verizon 5. Drops about 1 percent every two minutes with AirDrop and BT turned off.

The screen is the #1 thing that uses the battery... keep it on for <2 minutes at a time, and the battery usage will start to level out.

With ios7 on my iPhone4s doing nothing

100% charge to 25% took 4 hours even turning off

Background app refresh

Cellular data

Bluetooth

Location services

You cannot restore back to ios6, so at this time

I would hold off until there is a fix

I will charge the phone up and set in plane mode

And see what happens. It could be wifi related

What does your usage stat say?

(For reference) The standby is the one I really need to see.

Mine is now down to 22% I will charge it and see what it does once the cahrge is complete. I can not see the stats for the battery as they have not information.

If you turn on "reduce motion" in settings-> accesabilities, it will save your battery life but turn off the "parallax" effect. Also turn on app background refresh in general.

I am having the battery draining problem, too, but I thought it was due to the inability to turn off the apps running in the background. But you apparently are able to turn them off. Is the process of turning them off still them same: hold the home button down until they shimmy, then touch the x? (Formerly was a -)

With airplane mode on overnight my battery

Remained at 73% for 8 hours. So it's network related

You douple-tap the Home button, then then all APPs plus a representative page over it appears.

Then simply swipe that page(s) up and the process is killed.

Apple really needs to get their act together! Its terribly annoying to have to go through this when all they have to do is fix it right the first time. They have had ample enough time to troubleshoot this software before it was realeased. Why are these techs getting paid if they cant do their job? For the amount of money we pay into these phones, we should have devices that work effiecntly.(sp)
