Anyone else having battery issues since updating to iOS 7?

HA have you went and gotten a replacement yet? Because my fiancé is have the exact same problem with his. And we're going to see if they'll replace his.

Not yet, I will be going in next week some time. Possibly tomorrow but we'll see.

Ppl just do full-nil charge battery runs on your iphone, it will improve, as it did on mine. Read elsewhere that this is a common problem when upgrading OS. It gets better as you use it, initially it was very bad for me too, no need to run for replacements

TThe people suggesting shut stuff off are not getting it. I have turned every single thing of that I have read to turn off since the update plus closed every app plus reloaded ios7 and it is still eating the battery at a rate where I wouldn't want to depend on being able to make a call anywhere away from a charger!

Most of us have already tried turning every little tho off. But it still isn't working. I scheduled an appt at the App Store tomorrow. And will be recieving a new phone because I left the house an hour ago, and my FIANCÉS phone is already at 2%. It's ridiculous.

Same here: The first night after the update to iOS 7, last night, I charged the phone like I usually do before I go to bed and when I woke up it had gone from 100% down to 30 something%. I had to get out the door but it was like 34% but 39% would have been just as bad. This never happened to me before. In fact, I used to praise my iPhone for being so battery friendly so what gives? In the past, overnight, I would only see a 5% +/- 3% point drop, tops! This is derisory!

The best advice I've read to save battery power was "Turn your iPhone off and go do something else"

kind of hard to get calls that way when your out of the house. pretty ridiculous advice there^^^

I'm having the same problem, only my phone was charghing when dropped battery life. Now my phone is plugged in and compeltely dead, and nothing makes it so that it charges or turns on. Taking a trip to an apple store today. I had amazing battery life before this update. The problem is my warranty is over, but it's not like I want a new phone. I want them to fix whatever they did to mine.

I'm on the phone with apple right now and the WORST thing you can do is plug it into iTunes and press the power and home buttons. That forces it into recovery mode. Your best bet is to do a hard reset if you don't want to lose any data. Call them and see if they can help you. She said that because it's because of the update they shouldn't charge you.

Just talked to apple. First they said there was an upgrade available for the sofware. They also said if you are sill having issues we will replace it. Then she said hold on and was gone for a few minutes. When she came back the story had changed. She said wait for the upgrade then if it is still bad to call lback and they would see what they could do. I have a case number now for what ever that might get me. The calls for the battery issue to apple have no charge so you should all call in and complain...

Turn off 'background app refresh' in general settings - this is a battery life killer - or , if you need, just cut down on which apps are constantly updated

My battery live is 70% less than before, I did everything possible, I follow all recommendations to keep the battery life, but didn't work. I recalibrate two times the battery, but didn't work.

I can't understand how a Tech company like Apple still have issues like that, every new IOS has this issue.
