Upgraded to iTunes 11.1 and now it won't recognize my iPhone

yeah soo i did everything you said to do and it didnt work. then i installed the version that worked before 12.3.2.35

repaired the corrupt files. still doesnt show my iphone.

running diagnostics show the same thing. no iphone found and 1 or more sync tests failed.

the reason i upgraded was because i had to reinstall everything after a nasty ransomware virus got into my computer (CERBER Ransomeware).

If you've had ransomware in your system there is every chance it is no longer stable. Have you backed up your data and then started from scratch on a clean partition? Otherwise those may be the next steps your need to take.
