Can't scale pictures since ios7 update

In my iphone 5S I used the free app "Pic Collage". In the "Create" window it allows you to get a desired photo from your camera roll and resize it to fit your screen as a wallpaper. It also lets you add text and change the background of the picture. I don't know though if it works with the ipad because I have not tried it.

Hello, you may have sorted this issue but on iPad, it is better if you set your wallpaper in the portrait view, it seems to manage better rather than landscape. I tried the other methods and they don't work without a big 'faff...'

The iphone 5s has the same problem as the ipad after updating to IOS7 so I tried your suggestion for my iphone 5s too and this app (Fit Wallpaper to IOS7) really works. It's free at the Appstore so anybody with wallpaper scaling problems on their ipads or iphones should at least give it a try.

TThis hasn't worked since iOS 6. Apple is asleep at the wheel. Their programming is getting worse by the day. Go try and move your apps around in iTunes prior to syncing your iPhone in iTunes 11.4. You have to double click a page to get access to an APP icon. Then you have to drag the icon to the new page. If you let go before the new page enlarges, your selected app shoots back to the previous page instead of falling to the end of the one you are hovering over. What happened to drag and drop!!! Apples programming is getting so bad that it looks almost intentional, like they are attempting to drive stock prices down. You should be able to drag and drop quickly and move pages just as quickly. It took me an hour to move my apps around for my new iPhone 6. Apple *** now. They can only go up from here.

When discussing this topic, think about this... If you bought a car at a dealership today, and while you drove down the road from the dealer, you noticed that the radio didn't work. When you drove back to the dealer, the dealer told you, "if you buy an app, you can fix your radio", wouldn't you be upset? Wouldn't you feel like the car radio should have worked like all car radios do? This is what happened with this feature... Apple disables it... someone makes an app to fix it... now everyone has to pay money to get an app to fix a feature that worked on iPhones in the last iOS. Is everyone that easily fooled?

When I bought my new car, it had a trial subscription to SiriusXM. Then it stopped working and they told me I had to pay for it. I wasn't upset at all. That's life.

We don't pay extra for the basic features of the iPhone. The Move & Scale feature has been and is actually part of the current iOS... and it's broken. SiriusXM is an account for which there is a monthly charge. Your comparison is ridiculous and doesn't apply at all. Next, Apple will have us download a $1.00 app to get the screen to work.

In reference to moving and scaling wallpapers, I think I'm missing something. That feature is there in iOS9.

You may be suffering from a language difference here.... Nowhere in my post did I say, "missing"... did I.

If you take a wide photograph and attempt to place it as a background screen, you will not be able to see the left of the photograph, nor the right of the photograph.... Move & Scale, does not allow it in Portrait orientation.

If you take a wide screen photograph... like this BMW photo that I took in Korea.... and place it as a lock screen photo.... you can not adjust it so you can see both sides, UNLESS you use an external App which crops the photo first...

It's September 19th, 2016... The wonderful new iOS 10 is out with the new iPhone 7!

Yet the problem still exists... we still can't see our photo as a lock screen because.... MOVE AND SCALE IS STILL BROKEN APPLE! Terrible.

iOS 7..... broken

iOS 8..... broken

iOS 9..... broken

iOS 10.... broken

Why would we want to see only the middle of our photos on our lock screens? This isn't Compaq or IBM... This is Apple. If you're programming like it is Compaq or IBM... maybe you should go back to one of those companies...
