Can't Remove Old ICloud Account

Hey guys,

A year ago or so I updated my apple ID as the old one was tied to an old email address that I didn't want to use. I updated the details and was able to change things like the apple store settings but was unable to change my iCloud settings.

When I updated to IOS 7, it wanted to use my old ID for ICloud so I skipped that step (there was no other option to change it)

I tried to remove the old ICloud account to create a new one but it asks for a password and I can't remember it. So...I went online and clicked "forgot passord" then it successfully emailed the reset instructions except it sent the instructions to some other email address that I don't use. It's all very frustrating. How do I delete the old ICloud?

Do you think they need my IMEI code too? It is a cellular ipad...

Exactly my situation! Got the answers wrong so the ONLY thing possible was to send a copy of the invoice with codes of my ipad on it...serial number etc.

Got a confirmation email back saying that my ipad has been Freed and unlocked from that old email.

Too bad when I opened my Ipad again..same problem..nothing happened at all.

Maybe I just have to wait...

I tried the work around but my old Apple ID is an iCloud address and it isn't letting me change my new gmail address to an iCloud one.

I can't change the apple id to the old email address because that email is not available?!

I tried this but it says that the email address is already in use and won't let me change/edit it. What do I do then?

Still frustrated. I can't sign in to iTunes using my old apple ID because it tells me that my old apple ID does not exist. Which, it doesn't -- on any of my other devices. Just my ipad. Which I can't seem to delete.

If you are unable to remove or delete iCloud account from your iPhone, try this guide. I've faced the same issue once and found this guide from Google. It was helped me to resolve it immediately.
