Ios 7 made my ipad so slow that I can't type anything and it freezes

I have the same problem, but i don't want to loose all my stuff by resetting my ipod 5. Is there any way to fix my ipod without loosing all my stuff?

settings->iCloud->Documentation and Data turn it off. that solved my problem

The wallpaper is so slow. I hate getting stuck in that thing. Doesn't affect my keypad though .... Yet.
