Hi,
I had the same issue, I've just check the size of my mail Box, it was up to 1Go. (I am on Office 365)
I had clean 500 Go and good news my mailbox on my 5s works fine now ...
Why it is working fine on a S3 et BB Z10 that is the question ...
Unless problem solve.
I wish that help you.
I have tried all listed suggestions (deleting/readding account, reseting network connections, turning wifi on/off, turning SSL on/off, airplane mode on/off, closing mail app and reopening after each of these, hard reset, etc.) and am still unable to send messages from my work email. I can receive messages just fine, but whenever I send something I get "Cannot Send Mail: The user name or password for "SMTP:myusername@smtp.mail.med.umich.edu" is incorrect. My password is not incorrect - if it was, I would not be able to receive messages either. This is very frustrating as I am responsible for scheduling in my department and am unable to respond to anyone's emails until I get to a computer. I have never had any issues prior to iOS7. Please, please, please help! I am not tech-savvy enough nor do I have the authority to change anything with our servers, but I do know that colleagues of mine have their work email synced successfully post iOS7 so it's not on our end. Any help would be very much appreciated!
I am Having the same Problem all with company Iphone's and exchange , My secretary has a Samsung Note 2 and she is receiving and sending emails Fine!!!!!! We Need some answers ASAP
I have Learned a New thing if you connect to your WIFI the Phone will connect to Exchange???
But that Doesn't Help If you are on the Road??
I am also having this problem after my work Exchange account just one day disappeared! I deleted that account and added it again, logged in, etc.
Now, I only have emails from that day onward, not from the entire history of the account as before! All my folders are showing up as empty without any emails in them. So frustrating.
Also, now when I send emails from my iphone Exchange email, they are not sent, there are no records of it in Drafts or in Sent Mail, and the recipient doesn't receive them. What gives? Anyone have the same problem?
Where is S/MIME? How can I find this?
I bought a new iphone 5c yesterday and I can't set up exchange email on it. Says: cannot connect to server!
This is my business phone and I need my emails. What's the point for my boss to pay for my phone if I can't see my email when I'm away from the office?
What's weird is that my boss has an iphone 4s and when we did the upgrade to ios 7, everything worked just fine. But me, with a new iphone, it's not working? 😕
What's worse, is that I don't have acces to exchange, just the IT guy and I can't reach him!
I tried a lot of suggestion from you guys but nothing worked.
I don't know if I can return my iphone and go with Samsung, if I just bought it yersterday?
The IOs 7.0.4 update fixed the problem for us on two devices. Using an iphone 4, just switched email to cloud hosted exchange and could not get email to send from device. Hope this helps save someone else some time 🙂
This solution worked very well! Didnt know there is a limit on the number of devices...
My solution: an App that connects to Exchange. I have been using Inbox Pro (previously had other names) which works well if you are just using for email. Calendar fuction is limited.
Thanks, this worked! I also had to delete the account settings and then add them back in again.
I found a solution and its work for me , you may follow the below step -
for SMTP setting
HOST NAME - use your SMTP server provided by ur ISP /email/domain provider...
user name : use same user name you have used in incoming server.
password : use the same password you have used in incoming server.
authentication : select PASSWORD
hope it will work for you as well.... enjoy...
