I can't believe you actually said that there are no major changes in IOS 7.0.2 user interface. Just look at the Safari ICON and then look at how Safari displays in IOS 7.0.2 versus 7.0. Look at the Notes Icon and how the page displays under IOS 7.0.2 versus 7.0. (7.0 looks like an an actual note pad) Look at Contacts and compare the 7.0.2 ICON to the 7.0 ICON then look at the data is displayed in 7.0 it actually looked like an address book not just a cheap tablular list that you can create in Numbers or Excel. Look at the Calendar ICON and compare it back to IOS 7.0 and how the data was displayed versus how it's shown now.

You have the affrontery to say no major changes - the application frames are gone, a lot of the overhead has been stripped out to afford more room for enhancments to things like HDR in the Camera Icon.

Beleive me Apple made lots of changes some good some just destroyed its positon as a graphic giant.

Then Apple sends out an alert saying they have rolled out an update to the IOS to correct a vulnerabilty all the while knowing they were degrading the quality of the application ICONS to save space, and eliminating the app overhead in favor of trying to make the iPad and iPad Mini and iPhone a do everything devise. It was a bigger revision/update than just fixing a vulnerabilty - it's a whole new IOS and Apple didn't have the guts to tell its loyal users and give them the freedom of choice?

IOS 7.0.2 IS a substantial change to say otherwise is to be untruthful.

Is Apple going head to head with Adobe, Canon or Nikon in an iPad? What's next?

Alan-43 - I think you're mixing up iOS6 and iOS7: the big change came with iOS7, 7.0.2 is just an update. Im sitting here looking at two iPhones, one with iOS6 and the other with iOS7. So some of the misunderstanding right now comes from mixing up these two - maybe you just skipped the 7.0 and went straight to 7.0.2, so you didn't notice that your previous was 6.something?

And that being said, I still have problems looking at 7, and won't update my own device :-)

That could be IOS 6 versus 7.0.2 What I know is that after I updated, something over the years I've learned to do, everything change and in my opinion for the worse. Everything I was happy with changed and changed for the worse and that really upset me and what upset me even more is that I can't restore my system on my iPad. I already figured out it was a lost cause on my iPhone, but I liked my iPad displays and ICON. To have them dissappear overnight because of an update - that was over the top. I'll check my wifes iPad to see if the version that made me happy was IOS 6 or IOS 7

In either case I am so dissappointed in the the look of the current version of the Apple IOS

Apple really needs to take a hint from their loyal customers and do something (almost said consider, but considering doesn' t DO anything). The market place is to competitive not to offer up the best product possible and judging by all the comments here and elsewhere IOS 7.0.2 (7.0) isn't it.

Saw a post on this site (subsequently removed) suggesting a way to return to IOS 6.0 - oh well. Anyone with a way of going back should let us all know.

Boy does this new IOS suck down the battery

Wish I would have read this before I updated mine 😟 I hate the way my photos are displayed. You never background a photo in white

Then I guess I should have those photos I had professionally matted and framed that happened to have white matting back to the shop and demand my money back.

Well, the main difference is that your white frame is made of some kind of white paper, which reflects light, not emits it like white pixels do.

The white background in the Photos apps is an atrocity.

At the end of the day, my eyes are killing me. It's like staring at a flourescent bulb all day long.

Does Jony Ive own stock in an eyeglasses company????

*** - I've never considered switching from Apple, but my god, all this crap, adjust brightness to 50%; resize the wallpaper on and on.....guess I just have to not use my new phone very much.

Really discouraged. BTW - someone suggested inverting colors - LMAO - try that and see how ridiuclous everything is....
