After ios 7 update on ipad mini, auto rotation stop working. Anyone facing this issue too?

Update io8 didn't fix the problem so I did send it in to support and they returned me a replacement ipad, as they couldn't fix it.

Press top button to lock, turn mini to landscape, then press home button to unlock. So far this has worked for me but fustrating that it happens at all.

Rotation on my iPad Mini stopped working since iOS 7.

I bought it to the SoHo Apple store and was advised that the sensors were defective and nothing could be done to fix them.

I did all the tricks I could find online (rotation button, hard reset, reset all settings), none worked.

It worked once after I upgraded to iOS 8, and it worked for a day or two after I upgraded to iOS 9.1.

I'm not going to buy more iOS product until Apple takes this seriously.
