Hello everyone, I did try the following with my 4s 64gb
Plugged iPhone to iTunes, I unchecked the music box for the transfers to my iPhone apply the changes and it removes all songs or from your device, once finish make a new back up of your device.
1. Full restore from an earlier backup with no music files, transferring files at 128kbps, no success I only got it to transfer 900 songs before it got stuck in waiting for changes to be applied.
2. Full restore from an earlier backup with no music files, transferring files at 192kbps this time got stuck again at a little over 2000 songs (waiting for changes to be applied).
3. Full restore from an earlier backup with no music files, transferring files at 256kbps and over or normal transfer, this time it did transfer my songs by selecting transfer all song and filling up empty space in my 64gb iPhone, it only transfer 7025 song out of my 8000 songs and it finish the full normal transfer without getting stuck in waiting for changes to be applied.
I know this is not really a full fix for the problem we are having, but before I was able to transfer the 7025 songs I had to delete all of my smart playlist and regular playlist too, I was reading other post where they mention the smart playlist where having problems with the syncing part, I think the problem comes from a corrupted file, that does not want to convert to 128kbps or 192kbps and it keeps getting stuck in waiting for changes to be applied or it just stop transferring the converted song and we keep trying again and again and nothing happens , DO NOT DELETE YOUR PLAYLIST.
If you have more than 8000 song or more videos this will not work if you want to sync more files.
I will keep trying until apple decides to fix it, I hope we get and update from iTunes and our ios before the apple community decides to move on to a competitor.
