iOS 7 Freezing While typing

I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 today and now whenever I go to type anything, the screen freezes for 15-30 seconds after every 2 letters I type. It freezes on the dial pad also, so when I go to call, or enter my passcode, it freezes and is not getting half the numbers. The Control Center is also not coming up; it will work one or two times then I have to lock my phone and unlock it for the chance it might come up.

I've put iOS 7 on my iPad and its not having the problems my phone is. Does anyone know how to fix this or is anyone else having this problem?

Hi ...

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Then restart your iPhone and try typing.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.

Only just seen this, but if you still have problems with an enormous unread emails count, I discovered just by accident that they were squirreled away in a nested thread. The easiest way to find them is to go to Options, Mail etc, Organise by Thread OFF. Then you should be able to see all the unread emails. It sounds as though they might all be within a small set of threads if you have so many - e.g. a invite to a conference or party, or anything where lots of people might responds to.

Alternatively, keep Organise by Thread ON, and look through the emails till you see one you think might have a very large thread. That'll make it easier to 'Read' them.

Finally, just go to your email web application and read them there! If it's like Google, online on a PC, you can filter for all unread - and these will be the same Unread emails as on your device.

Hope that's helpful.
