How can you embrace the new UI compared to the old?

The design looks terrible, there is a reason why everyone is hating on the new os.

Cupertino is about as smart as Redmond. Yes iOS7 is ghastly in the GUI environment color scheme. For the most part they have merely cloned google phone features with pastel colors. Easy solution is just include a classic skin. They have already included a classic sound folder.

This would probably be my last post on this forum.

I have spoiled couple of days on the discussion forum to get rid of iOS7 and today I also talked to your rude customer care staff which didn't help me but added to my existing frustrations. I don't want to spoil my personal life anymore because I have done it already and moreover it's my daughter's B'day tomorrow. I'll come back on Wednesday with a plan. With this post I just want to highlighting what I intend to do if Apple doesn't resolve my complaint to my satisfactory level.

I believe that iOS7 has ruined my iPAD completely and I don't know what is the technical reason behind this. This could be because my hardware is not compatible with your super hi-fi iOS7 upgrade but definitely it is not behaving the way you have projected customers about iOS7. I have raised my voice in the Apple forum. I have sent my feedback to the link you mentioned and I have also tried speaking to your customer care senior person today case no 508053349 and I have fixed appointment at local Apple store on Wednesday 25th Sept 2013.

I strongly believe that iOS7 has made my iPAD completely unusable and it is now just a piece of rubbish. If I talk about my loss then I have not just lost $510 towards iPAD but I have lost a trust in Apple worth thousand dollars. With this huge loss I don't mind loosing some extra bucks to spread my feeling. My country gives me freedom to express and hence therefore I am going to express my feeling by printing hundreds of T-Shirts and Caps with caption "iOS7 ruined my iPAD/iPHONE. I'll wear these daily to my work in public transportation till the time Apple resolves my issues and I'll happily distribute these free to people who feels the way I am feeling

Please don't consider this as any threat but it is way I want to express myself. I am not a internet savvy who just express by writing post and updating walls. I believe in actually meeting people and sharing the feelings. I am already an organiser of lot of Meetup groups. I'll create a dedicate Facebook page just to express my feeling and I won't mind spending some couple of dollar in promoting this page locally.

Therefore it is now up to best interest to you to resolve my problems instantly they way you introduced them via iOS7.

What is the point of posting this here? Apple are not here and we are all on users on a technical support forum and can do nothing for you.

Contact Apple directly - there is no earthly point in you posting this here.

It is not a good idea to post case numbers and personal info etc., on a public forum either.

My whole "New Coke/Classic Coke" analogy was only in regards to the visual and graphic aspect of iOS 7 - what I consider the "flavor" of the operating system. I would never argue that iOS7 is not a great operating system "under the hood". It just looks terrible, and that makes it decidedly less wonderful, even if it is "supercharged".

I have always felt that Apple products were superior - not just in some ways - but in every way. It simply doesn't make any sense that they would create yet another superior operating system with a completely sub-standard visual design.

I have contacted apple, and my provider. I do not care oh w the new update looks. It is the least of my worries. Up until 2 days ago I had an iPhone that worked great. now I have a pieve of nothing that I cannot use because it will not connect to WiFi and the cost of data on my carrier is absurd.

I have tried resetting and restoring ad-nauseum, I have lost pretty much everything (including my wedding vows for my wedding in November) and I am beyond over it.

If anything, why can't they at least fix this?

I just want to be able to use the phone that I have spent hundreds of dollars on.

iOS 7 looks so lucrative but its of not much use.

Since morning today, i have turned off my wifi, cellular internet and not playing any games as i dont have my cell's charger and i am scared that its battery will drain out if i will keep using it. Such feeling was never before with iOS 6.

What is the point of having such phone then.

I am too very disappointed by iOS 7. iOS 6 was so great then this because i had a superb battery back up in that, but in iOS 7 even i am not using my phone still the battery is draining out in every 10 mins or so.

You will not believe yesterday night i left my phone with 80%+ battery and found it completely discharged when i saw it in morning. (and i dint left any app running too)

Seems like not a proud owner of iPhone 5 anymore 😟

Absolutely correct. I made one post yesterday into a forum article discussing reverting to iOS6 and it was entirely removed overnight. What happened to freedom of speech. No specifics mentioned just people asking if they can back up of iOS7. Anyway how much trouble would it be to offer consumers a Classic icon / desktop theme with iOS7 as an alternative?

Well I guess iOS 7 is here to stay and as much as I feel like screaming every time I look at my iPad, I can only hope Apple listens to "that guy.". You know "the guy"... the one product and software developer who was among all the other developers who saw what they were working on and tried to warn them that maybe certain aspects of iOS 7 would fall short. Please Apple listen to "that guy" and provide us soon with an update! Soon, cause after writing this I had to make an appointment with my optometrist. I literally see spots after looking away from this bright white screen.

FYI I sent this message to Apple.

Anyone know or heard gossip about a possible update to correct these flaws? Anyone else noticing eye problems after using iOS 7 for longer than 30 min?
