iOS 7 does look different on the screenshots and videos Apple made, that’s why I immediately went back to iOS 6.1.4 when I experienced the 7 first hand on my iPhone 5, just in time.

Look all over the internet how many want to revert back to iOS 6 but cannot because Apple stopped signing iOS 6.

I wonder how many, if presented the option to go back to previous iOS would do so? Now, that would be an interesting poll.

Speaking of customer service, I just got off the phone with Apple. After updating to iOS 7, and having my 4 go entirely deaf and mute, they are sending me a coffin in the mail for a repair/replace. He didn't even ask me any follow up questions... And I'm only going to be without it for up to two weeks!

Better than a useless phone I suppose, but what does that say?

In all fairness the apple customer rep was very nice, we joked that it's been a busy few days... He admitted that the rollout wasn't "flawless".

It's weird that I have 5 products running iOS, and only one had an epic failure. Happened to be the only 4 I own... Coincidence?!?! Or conspiracy! ;p

I too would like to uninstall 7 and go back to 6. Hate the new look but could live with it. Can't live with the incompatibility with my company's enterprise software. We all use ipads a lot at work but are now reconsidering. Need to authenticate EVERY ACTION in the company email. EVERY ACTION!!!! Our tech support says it is an OS 7/Apple issue. What gives with that?

Don't make me go back to Microsoft. I want to stay in love with my ipad....

Your "tech support" is wrong.

It's not up to Apple to maintain compatibility with every app in existence.

It's the app developers responsibility to keep their apps and services compatible with the latest OS offerings, whether it be iOS, android, windows or Mac OS.

So don't blame Apple for something you should have tested on a select few devices before letting everyone in your company update.

It is actually burning up my battery. I have an iphone 5 and after the install, not only can I not read the white print very well (have bad eyes) but Siri no longer works AND worse, the OS is burning up my battery time. After only a 1/2 day (and I only used it for 30 minutes, rest of the time it was sitting) the battery dropped to 20%. It is actually heating up the phone AND THE CORD as it's plugged in. I'm actually afraid to use the phone now. I'm afraid it'll burn up in my hands.

The new OS eats the battery life. My son-in-law said the same thing -- he has really bad battery life. And I was just talking to my son on his phone and the whole phone died -- because he didn't have any battery left.

I turned off as much as I could turn off (according to instructions to save your battery) but I never had to do this before on the old OS.

I posted twice that I wanted to go back to my old OS and uninstall OS7 and Apple deleted both my posts.

I wonder if RESTORING the phone will get rid of the 0s7?

I have tried to send to Apple feedback but I find it limiting because they don't have a section for the iOS. I went in through the iPhone section and when asked for the iOS they only had the MAC Os's and Windows! Another time, again they didn't list iOS 7 and they didn't go up to my version of Numbers, so every time I write in, at the beginning I have to put 'Please note your drop down menus don't give me the option to list iOS 7 ...' and whatever else is not relevant before I get on to my comments. I am fairly new to discussions, so am I using the wrong URL? I use: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

It's great isn't it, Apple are quite happy for hundreds of people to get eye strain from the new 'upgrade' and don't seem concerned about the fast battery drain which is making the hardware unusable. Can I ask what is the use of having all the new features if you have to turn most of them off because you can't keep the battery charged up enough if you are out all day. What do you have to do, carry the charger around with you and hope there is somewhere to plug it in? Come on Apple, sort these problems out.
