how do i uninstall IOS7

The first edict is "stay on topic", kindly reference the thread topic or trash the whole thread, if my posts are in violation then so is the thread itself. I only answered the thread topic exactly, since then it's been a battle with zealots.

Now that I think about it I'm not sure you read the whole thing at all, I clearly met the standards of the main body, you needed to creatively interpret sub-point two.

And you are correct the whole thread should be deleted because it goes against apple policy and no I was not being creative. I was interpreting the rule that you seem to want to break by saying that apple is lying that it can't be done.

BTW people have complained about updates since 2.0 and I have yet to see them all walk away. In fact apple has got more people to embrace ios than losing. So don't let the door hit you on the way out because 2-3 more people will be coming in.

It's one thing to see a screenshot here or there. It's another to hold it in your hand, white screens and all, like a flashlight in your face.

I've been an Apple user since the late 80's. But I bought a Palm, Blackberry and a couple Galaxies before going to an iPhone. Apple is losing the smartphone battle right now, and I don't think this barfy looking iOS is going to do them many favors.

As for those who don't like the new look, don't let it bother you KC7GNM. You too can close this forum thread and go elsewhere. As far as I know, Apple has not modifed free speech. Just yet.

Though the last 5 parties in this thread are expressing themselves moderately kindly,...... the issue here is a TOS violation deemed "thread hijacking" in which other posters take command over that of the OP question.

I would love to revert - not because of the look (it's liveable with but like some kindergarten toy) but because it's incredibly buggy particularly on my iPad. Don't they check things before releasing them?!

Me too, Just upgraded and it was as if Microsoft Outlook team had just hijacked my iphone. What are the developers thinking? If anyone from Apple reads this please note: You see an outstanding resume from an Engineer at Microsoft and he lists how he overhauled one version of a Microsoft piece of software and redesigned this or that and you shut the file down and click delete.

I mean really, after so many successful interfaces and product releases and now we have an update that makes my iphone look like a windows platform? What are you guys thinking, do you want your share price to fall is that it?

Nope the first post was "How do I uninstall ios7"

The computer programmers must be bored....so in the previous iO6 we could tap the top of the screen to auto scroll up to the top of the messaging window to see a CALL tab. One would simply touch the call tab and a call would initiate. It was a simple two touch process and very efficient. Now in iO7 one must touch the Contact tab at the top right of the screen. Once pressed it brings up a sub menu bar with a phone icon, a video camera icon and an info icon. One then must press on the phone icon, then yet another sub menu appears from the bottom with several options one of which is to make a voice call. One must press the Voice Call tab to activate a call. So....the CS programmers were overthinking...unless I am missing something and I am well aware of Siri, but instead of two taps to make a call in a message window, now one must make three taps. Computer Science Programmers primary function is to make the code and the software/hardware that utilizes it as efficient and user friendly as possible. While the new method of making a call from a message window works, overall it is like the rest of the new iO7....most of it is smoke and mirrors...with thinner fonts and different colors...where buttons, tabs etc were round or square, it seems they are simply reversed, like the phone keypad...the buttons are now round yet were square in iO6.

It would seem the appearance of the iOS is an issue for wanting to uninstall. My first response was the same as viperman17: how do I go back? But we know that's not possible. So be it. I'll use my phone less, and that is a very, very good thing.

I have read responses and gotta say....what a shame there is no way to go back. I will be dumping my new ipad for my old ipad. When they fix it, maybe I will come back. App vendors, no more of my money sorry. Apple screwed you too. I will not browse the web with this interface. Looks like Boeing made the right decision not to use apple tablet in their new space vehicle. Watching what they choose, maybe going that way with my next tablet.

Again apple comes out with a crapy IOS, I'm just glad I didn't update my IPad.
