typing message iphone 4 is very slow in iOS 7
iPhone 4, iOS 7
same on my 4s and ipad 3rd generation
Thank You, This fixed my Problem. Greatttttttttt
Got the slow typing problem, tried lot of things. Sound weird but the problem got Fox after i update Apple TV and switch display to Apple TV. My iPhone 4S run well since (24 hours).
It worked great for me too! Thanks!
dilbert41 you r my saviour ^^
The best and Very effective way to fix all problems concerning the iOS 7 update is to reset all settings! It will fix everything guaranteed. Hope that helps!
I saw your post saying that after turning the icloud documents and data off that you couldn't take advantage of the icloud feature. However, I turned the documents off and then back on and it cleared up the typing issue. It just had to be reset, not so much as turned completely off. Just thought I would let you know in case you had not figured that out yet. : )
I cant believe it worked...WTH😕
So, I just encountered the same issue. This was after I had enabled "Find My iPhone". As soon as I turned this off, no problem. It might be as simple as that.
This happened to me when I first installed iOS7 on a 4s and I reset settings to fix it.
Just happened again today with the 7.0.2 update and i turned off documents and data and that seems to have worked
Weird

It will fix many problems, but it will not fix ALL problems. Let's keep it in context, people.
I was mainly referring to problems concerning the ios7 update and the glitches that surfaced based on the update. If the wording "many" instead of "all" floats your boat then more power to you. The main concept was grasped.

When offering technical troubleshooting assistance, it is critical to use specific and accurate terminology.
It's not a matter of 'floating my boat'; it's a matter of providing correct procedures and valid advice.
There is still a stubborn part in the crevices of my mind that still don't see the relevance of whether or not it fixes "all" the issues of the update as opposed to "most". But I am a reasonable person, therefore, I stand corrected. Your argument seems reasonable enough and serves as future reference that could prove useful, I guess. I hope that makes you frolic in pure bliss before sleep consumes you at night.
For me, personally, it's no big deal. For anyone coming along later and seeing that it's supposed to fix ALL issues; not so much.
There are actually issues that reset all settings is unneccessary, and a simple restart or reset will do the trick.
Feel free to use this:
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.
