My iPad encountered all kinds of issues after updating to the ios7.

I did all the above you mentioned but it did not work. When all else failed, resetting all settings did the trick.

My iPad is now running smoothly. Thanks, though!

For me, personally, it's no big deal. For anyone coming along later and seeing that it's supposed to fix ALL issues; not so much.

There are actually issues that reset all settings is unneccessary, and a simple restart or reset will do the trick.

Feel free to use this:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails

- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)

- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)

- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)

- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)

- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.

- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

Forgive my wordings, I really meant to reinforce your troubleshooting guide but also inform that besides the resetting part, all else proved to be a failure or proved to be too tedious of a task. I can never fathom to restore as new device, that would be a fool's errand on my part as I value the contents I have stored on my device. I would grudgingly do so unless it was an absolute must. In this case, it wasn't. I do know the workarounds of troubleshooting my iPad but still I thank you for the guide.

I do feel inclined to say that this discussion defeats the purpose. All in all, it is unarguable that resetting all settings does, in fact, work and in my case, proved to be the better method. It is all a matter of what works best and acquiring the results intended. With that said, I shall kindly and duly take my leave. *Exits the premises*
