you just pointed out why it goes slow, you updated it on your iphone 4s it seems that every older version of the iPhone goes extremely slow after the ios7 update because my iphone 4 freezes up every time I try to text someone or go on twitter or anything else I own which ***** because you cannot uninstall it I wish they had that option to do so but they don't unfortunately. I have an iPhone 4 and 5 it works fine for my iphone 5 doesn't mess up at all but when it comes to the iphone 4 it takes forever to load so that I can respond to a text which frustrates me because I am not a patient person. I feel that they should give their customers an option of uninstalling if they don't like it. But I should've test it the (ios 7 beta for free not the five pounds or dollars they charged)when they gave you a chance to in the summer maybe a lot of us wouldn't be on here complaining about it had they actually done that.

I had a perfectly fine working phone, now I have nothing but lag, typing delays, battery life loss, crashes and a new style that has really taken 2 steps back. This does not feel solid, stable or fluid and those were exactly why I wanted an iphone. My nice smooth phone now looks and feels like all the other devices I came to Apple to avoid.

Not happy -.-

Please show me in my post where I called you a liar....just because a person is dubious about your memory or perception of an incident does not mean that they are calling you anything.

It simply means that they are dubious. Dubiety only implies doubt or uncertainty.

When someone ascribes the word "liar" to someone else, there is no room for doubt - they are clearly stating that the person in question is intentionally misrepresenting what happened.

Please do not misrepresent my response.

Hi!

I just found this site and hoped to find out how I might 'de-install' the new iOS 7 ...

First: My 'Rant' ...

I also just upgraded to iOS 7 ... I Totally DO NOT LIKE many of the 'New Features', 'Fresh New Look', and other 'Improvements' ...

I THOUGHT this always 'Formerly' helpful site would be helpful again ... but the rude, sanctimonious, and 'Holier Than Thou' posts from 'Maine', He-Who-is-Not-in-'The States', and a very few others makes clear that this may not be the case any longer ...

Next: the probable responses from 'Maine', and He-Who-is-Not-in-'The States' ...

"You are such a jerk'" ... "Bullocks, you are such twit me bugger" ... "YOUR the one who CHOSE to do the upgrade' ... "Your the one who should read 10 IT magazines monthly, 100 Apple online newsletters weekly, and read/post 1000 blogs and forums daily' ... "This is a forum to share thoughts and issues about Apple products, NOT to discuss problems with iPhone/iPad updates!" ...

What can I say to THAT!!! ... Maybe ... "I know you are but what am I? ...

To the REST of the forum who helpfully strive to keep 'on topic': IS there any way to go back to iOS 7?

We have been an Apple Family since the Apple IIe days back in the 1879's ... No, wait ... The 1970's ... We have always trusted and found Apple upgrades to be helpful, easy to install, and improved (although any change takes getting used to ) ... We trusted Apple with the iOS 5 upgrade (Very Good!), the iOS 6 update (Excellent!) and 'assumed' (yeah, yeah, I know ...) that the much-hyped iOS 7 would so follow ... ('Fabulous' for most users but 'Terribly Horrible' for a VERY large group of users as well), as this forum thread makes abundantly clear ...

Apple used to make reverting back to a just-previous operating system allowable and fairly easy ... That's why we have always been comfortable with being early-upgraders to new Apple systems (although we DO usually wait for version XYZ.01! :-) ) ...

Apparently, in this case, our 3rd poster is right ... There IS no 'going back' this time (although it DOES seem that it WAS possible just a couple of days ago) ...

Thanks to the many of you who posted helpful and constructive comments ... The 'Apple Spirit' IS still alive!

p.s. One more probable response from 'Maine' ... "You are STILL such a jerk! You can't even make a long story short'" ...

What can I say to THAT!!! ... Maybe ... "I never COULD understand why anyone would WANT to make a story short!"

My battery was draining about 1% every six minutes. I reset my phone and now my phone is holding a charge again. Went all night and still have a full battery! Didn't lose any of my photos or contacts. I did have to reset my ringtones, alerts and wallpapers- no big deal. I am back to loving my iPhone 4s 🙂 Hope this works for you too.

You are wasting your time with Gail... her post count alone shows she is an Apple fan girl ..lol....it would be interesting tho Gail if you could also post a screen shot of where it says...DO NOT INSTALL ON iPHONE 4/4s once the read more button is pressed... considering you wanted to make a meal of it i dont think its such a bad request,,,,, Btw... my phone is gone,,, im back on Android, and what a blessing it is too,

Thank you "Apple IIe Family" poster for setting this thread straight. If I heard one more self-righteous rude comment from either Gail from Maine or Shanahan I was going to lose it.

I have had problems, too, with my 4S. I've done most of the "fixes", to no avail. I really am waiting to see if Apple comes up with the option to revert back to ios6. My iPad is all but unusable. I'll have to take it to the Apple store.
