Random cable error after iOS 7 (no cable attached)

Anyone else getting this on an iPhone 5 after upgrading to iOS 7? Randomly, without a cable or accessory attached, I'm getting the "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not reliably work on this iPhone" error message! Perhaps my hands or fingers are the wrong type?! )))

It is SO frustrating when Apple (or any other company's) reps know far less than the consumer. By the time I go in for help, I've researched thoroughly and tried everything, yet I am told to do a reset . . . come on! How do we get results. Do Apple people pay attention to these forums? Any ideas about how we can get real results?

Well, the bug, as I wrote before, suddenly disappeared without me doing anything else to the phone. I had previously restored, cleaned, etc. Then it just stopped and, touch wood, hasn't occurred for about 4-days now! Stupid ruddy phone! If I had paid full price for the iPhone 5, I would have been seriously disappointed; instead I am just fed up with it...

My problem started after I update my iPhone 5 to the IOS 7.0.2. and I only use apple cables and MFI products. my radio transmitter is MFI and i use the apple lightening converter with it. It's driving me crazy! I've tried all of the suggestions I could find on the net. They don't work. It doesn't happen with my ipad and i use and MFI cable on that! Apple please do something!

So thrilled that the constant annoying message has finally gone. Although I did buy a brush that apple recommended (PCB Anti Static Dust Cleaning) and cleaned the part where the lightening cable connects to the phone, whether this was just coincidence I don't know.

Occasionally it comes back but only when I connect it to a none apple certified in-car charger and once I clear the message it dissapears.

Apple did offer for me to return it to them free of charge as they wanted to "catch" the error message, if they couldn't fix the problem they were going to replace it also.
