Speaker issue after update to iOS. 7

Ever since I downloaded IOS7, my earphones do not work in my Ipad Mini anymore (they worked fine prior to the upgrade). The speakers work fine, but when I plug in the earphones sound still comes from the Ipad Mini speakers and not the earphones. Kinda defeats the purpose of wanting to use the earphones. Anyone have any suggestions? Apple, please fix immediately. Thank you!

Same problem here on 4S, tried restore many times with no fix. I hope Apple is working on this as I am seeing alot of the same problem on many forums. Get it together Apple! This is very frustrating. Cannot even use bluetooth either. 😠

I dont think it is a hardware issue. only started after update on my 4S.

Speaker issue was fixed on my iPhone 4 after installing latest ios7 update.

I'M furious! Called apple support they are aware of this. The only fix is to erase everything on your phone and start from scratch! Why can't hey just fix this with an update! I'm buying an android! Screw apple

Another method that fixed my iphone 4G!! Use a needle or a safety pin to shift the connectors at the charging port up (put the safety pin at the bottom, which is the more narrowed space). Hope it work!!

I googled and found out that there is a setting to cancel this issue. Go Settings -> General -> Accessability. Here you will find rather far down a switch for incoming calls which set to loudspeaker instead of standard.

I solved by opening Setting / Do Not Disturb, and turn on Manual.

I fixed this problem on my phone by turning off bluetooth when not using it.

I downloaded IOS 7 and my speakers have not been working fine .the sounds coming out is rather harsh and sounds differently .i can hardly hear the lyrics of music from my iPad ,what comes out is a humming sound

Hi im a newbie here and i recently bought an iphone from a friend (wahh i know i should have bought it legitly but i wasnt paying that price sorry),

I have a 32 GB Black Iphone 4s and theres a problem.

Yesterday i decided i wanted music on my phone and decided to sync my phone to my itunes and computer..

But lets backtrack first... Earlier in the day i decided to plug a (non iphone heaphone into the headphone port) and much to my ssureprise it worked (all ive ever dealt with is blackberry) unplugged the headphones and a few hours later this is where i synced my phone tried to play music an GASP nothing..in the music app the volume nubs are gray and cannot be moved left or right and no sound is being heard.. also when i tried to check to see if my ringer was going up and down it was displaying the little speaker but not the bar that moves. Read the discussions here and it seemed that we've all been screwed now i love my iphone and all its features only phone ive ever wanted but i would love this to be fixed.

I have tried:

Restting all setting

Hard Reset

Restore

Restore from back

Changing everything imaginable in Setting and nothing has worked

Making a voicenote and i actually got sound and my ringer started to work! YAY right.. WRONG

Cleaning it with nail polish removeer

Brushing it with a brush

Using a paperclip and scraping it

*i did find some fluff but it came out*

After a few futile attempts at trying to play videos and games with sound and getting nothing i have decided its time to put my tail inbetween my legs and hope that someone can help.

Im not sure if was the type of headphones that i used or hat but i need help

After a updating my iphone 5 to ios7.1 ,the speaker didn't work any more

What can I do to fix it ?

I have Iphone 5 32GB , upgrade it to ios 7.1

from 2 days the speaker was working fine till i connect it to its cable to charge it from the PC after that i started chatting on whatsapp during the chat i found that the notification sound started to desappeared and the voice is going to slow down , after that i have no sound at all from my speaker in any case ( getting a call , app notification , etc) but when i use the headphone its working fine , when the iphone connected through bluetooth in the car i can hear the ring tone through the car speakers , i restored it 3 times and i reset all the settings and still not working

HOPE TO GET HELP ASAP
