My iphone5 ios7 control panel the media won't play music why?

Exact same problem as everyone else here. I use the thing as an ipod all the time, its super infuriating. Sort it out apple for crying out loud, I thought the whole point of the "I" Phone was that it was a phone and an "I"pod. Can't go an update without something fundamental having some sort of irritating side effect.

Apple just released iOS 7.0.3!< Go to General<Software Update< Install iOS 7.0.3> This update will completely fix this problem! If the problem persists, perform a reset boot< Hold down both home button and Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo!> If it still isn't working well, I'd just say restore your phone to factory defaults< Plug your iPhone into iTunes then click on your phone then click Restore IPhone> this process will take up to 2 hours depending on your router speed! If you still have a problem well, I can't help you!

EvanR: your symptoms have been similar to mine. I have updated to 7.0.3 and I will advise whether I see any further issues. You might want to update and let us know how it works for you.

Have now updated to 7.0.3 and everything is now working as it should. Lets hope it stays this way.

Just upgraded to 7.0.3. Behavior is back to normal. We'll see if it lasts 🙂
