iPhone with IOS "Trust this computer" keeps popping up

I tried all the solutions given in all the forums, none worked out.

Finally, I had a chat with apple customer care executive, and I was provided with a solution that worked.

Steps:

1. Uninstall all apple related software (Itunes, Apple mobile support, Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple software update etc.).

2. Restart pc

3. Download new itunes and install.

This worked perfectly for me.

The possible problems which could have caused the issues were:

1. Some bad patches in iTunes software (which was my issue finally)

2. Software update using wifi (instead of iTunes). (

(The executive advised me to always update through iTunes instead of wifi to avoid any possible glitches in the future)

I hope this should work for someone 🙂

I'm not sure anyone has still fixed the iPhone>car connectivity issue - am I wrong?? I've been googling this for about an hour now, and none of the forum posts seem to be the solution, they all just segue into how to fix the problem on a PC...

Hi All, to get the iphone 5 or apple device with a lightening port, by the 30 pin to lightening adapter and it works perfectly and doesn't give the trust this computer message. Annoying that you have to buy an adapter but happy that my iphone can be charged and play music in my car. Can not believe it was that simple.

I just went through this issue with my iPhone 4S and iTunes 11.1.4.62

Solution - USB connect iPhone

open Device Manager

located my iPhone

update driver

It worked.

I had this problem with my 4S when I changed computer. I found this workaround: just connect via a USB hub instead of straight to the computer. It may not work for you but it worked for me!

It happened to me but not car, my issue was a usb cable. As soon as I changed old use cable with new one, it won't popping up anymore. I guess this issue caused by improper connection.
