iPad won't remember usernames and passwords after iOS 7 upgrade?

Ever since I upgraded I have to re-enter my password and username on all of my sites. They would remember me before. I do not have this problem on my iPhone just my ipad. Any suggestions?

iPad 2, iOS 7

ME TOO!!!!! I have all the appropriate "Passwords & Autofill" settings turned on, and the information I previously asked it to remember is listed under "Saved Passwords," but all login pages are blank when I navigate to them (both on my iPhone and iPad.

I even deleted them and tried them fresh, but when I select "Go" after entering usernames and passwords, the devices no longer prompt me as to whether or not I wish to remember them.

Frustrating!!! Hope this is a quick bug...

Actually the issues your describing either a hot spot on your cell phone or a data plan for the iPad would fix all your issues at once.

The issue with putting in the user & password more often is a part of IOS 7 it's states it in the TOS before you install it and it's for better security.

The logout issue you mentioned happens to everyone under those circumstances, the hotspot or data plan would solve that.

I stay logged in on all my sites all the time if I wanted but I have been using a hotspot for many years so I have internet 24/7 anywhere I am and also in a power outage.

I have had this issue on my mini too since upgrading to ios7. I keep entering user ID and password for a couple of forums that I regularly go to and selecting "Remember Me" but it isn't. So I am using my Kindle Fire for those things now. Another issue to provide feedback to Apple on although I suspect they don't really care. I think they are looking at the sale reports of the 5S and thinking there is an Apple Lovefest. But not feeling like they are paying attention to those of us who bought our products that worked a certain way and are now not happy that they work or don't work a whole new way. I'm not saying there weren't some positive things in ios7 but there are issues and things they could improve on. It might be that it isn't meant to work on existing products and works better on new ones. My mini battery is draining much faster than before and in general not working as well - screen isn't as responsive etc... And harder to read besides all these other little issues like user IDs/Passwords, email, etc...... I have been an Apple lover for many years and highly recommended their products but now can't say if I will replace my phone with another iphone even with all the money I have invested in Apps etc....

I didn't say it was a hotspot or data plan "issue".

People are saying they get logged out a lot and have to put their user and password in a lot. You get logged out of any page your signed in when there's I activity, you leave the wifi area, you lose internet, you close the web page but a page your logged into should sign you out automatically under any of those conditions. That's how they all work and should work.

What I meant by the hotspot or data plan is this...with any iPhone or tablet you can and almost always have one or a few web pages open on it, they all do unless you close every web page after your done and of course you get logged off the site when you do that. To maybe give people another option which I use daily, is a hotspot or data plan on the device. That follows the device so you have connection 24/7 and all you would need to do is keep that page open, but you will still get logged out for inactivity on the page which is still normal and it should do that.

I mentioned the hotspot or data plan because it would fix the losing internet, leaving wifi area some are mentioning

Dragon4486, if not saving passwords is "not an iPad or browser issue," because "that's how it's supposed to work," why does Safari even HAVE a (blank) "save passwords and auto-fill" settings window? And why is it that Chrome WILL save every password with no problem, while Safari won't?

With iOS7 installed on iPad2, Safari does not save passwords and log-in information. That is the title of this thread and the simple, specific issue for everyone who has posted--except, apparently, Dragon4486, who does not seem to find that having to RE-ENTER the password for every site after logging off BECAUSE SAFARI WON'T SAVE THEM is not convenient.

Chrome it is, but I miss Safari's bookmarks.

Oh my gosh--I feel like a total idiot. The solution is TURNING OFF PRIVATE BROWSING! That may have been the problem the entire time. That we pas mentioned somewhere, but I thought it was done in Settings and that I had it off--but it's not, and I didn't. Open Safari, touch + to open a new tab, then look for and touch "Private" in the bottom left corner. That opens a window that allows you to turn io private browsing. After that, your log-in sites will open the window asking if you want to save the password. Passwords are saved and still fill when you turn private browsing back on. Apologies to Dragon4486 if he mentioned and assumed we were proficient enough to have realized this.
