can't update says not connected to internet

Im guessing maybe something is broken in it, as nobody seems to know why this is happening Ill take it to Apple store

this is network issue.. Please check with your firewall as well.

sorry, but I cant see how this is the case as the ipad can connect to the internet without any problems as can my PC! Surely this would prove it must be a software or hardware problem within the ipad?

Did you reboot or reset ur ipad?

if doesnt work then something wrong with ur hardware.

Seems to be related to WiFi. To solve this I disconnected from WiFi, enabled 3G, rebooted the OS and then the iOS 7.0 download will verify the update. In other words, verify your update via 3G. Good Luck.

wifi only ipad, have tried rebooting both ipad & router several times. If I was REALLY unable to connect to internet I would agree maybe a wifi problem but I have no problem what so ever connecting, downloading apps, email etc its only when i try the update I get the message telling me I am not connected! - which is nonsense!

What ipad have you got?Not all ipad can download ios7.

think its the 3, its about 8 months old

I dont know either! I also have just checked capacity available & I have 11.3 GB, I cant see the upgrade using more than that? Anyway it doesnt say anything about storage it says no internet connection! ( which is not true!)

Guess the thing needs to go to Apple!
