iOs7 so ugly how can i change it ?

I have been in IT for 35 years, and ios 7 is the ugliest and least intuative OS in the history of OSs, with the possible exception of windows version 1 and 2. IOS 6 was beautiful at least. Its the emperor has no clothes syndrome. Its so ugly, people think it must be "art" and say they like it just because cool people do.
The need to charge my iPhone far more frequently now is high on my list of bugbears with iOS7. Along with some functions going AWOL, an awful calendar UI experience and network reconnecting being buggy. ....oh and the sheer ugliness as mentioned.
I recently bought a cheap android tablet as I had no experience of that OS, and I can say that my initial impressions are excellent. A tablet less than half the price of any of the iPads we have here (3 kicking around) and it performs very swiftly. Looks like there's hope for ditching iOS7 even if apple won't allow 'downgrading' in their infinite control-freak wisdom. So my advice is investigate Android or grin and bear it until we can get out of jail.
Yes, much of apple's recent success is based on people's perceived improved self-esteem by owning something 'cool'. Many people who buy iPads don't know why they need one. Sadly, this is to the detriment of the professional sector who were largely responsible for the early success of the brand. They can be ignored by apple now as the fashion-conscious consumer more than pays the bills.
iOS7 has definitely changed my usage habits of my iDevices - and very much for the worse.
There are several inbuilt apps which I just no longer use at all:
The new Photo app is so dreadful (no Places view - jumbled squinty thumbnails on white background) that I have just completely stopped syncing photos to my iDevices and just browse them on my Mac. At least I now have plenty of free memory so don't need to consider buying a new device for sometime...
The reminders app is now also in my "junk" folder on the iPhone - just too difficult to use.
I use Notes way less than previously - the experience is just so grim.
Calendar is now also in the junk folder - replaced by an aftermarket calendar.
I really do not intend to buy a new device now - definitely have fallen out of love with Apple products...
Which calendar app did you choose to replace the unpleasant apple one? I need to do the same and would appreciate a recommendation.
Frequently recommended ones include Tempo, Fantastical, Week Cal.
iOS 7 is tacky beyond conception. This minimalist extremism goes too far. I want the iPad Air but will hold off until something can be done about the interface.
What an unfortunate design.
IOS 7 is actually a downgrade to me. Not that i don't like bright colors. I like the iPhone 5c colorfulness indeed. But the icons on the iOS 7 look really cheap. I have nothing against flat design. Its just that their use of color and the drawing of the icons are so amateur to me.
The ugly look and feel overshadow all (small)improvements the new OS brings about. I have iOS 6 on my iPad and I'm trying to keep it as long as i can. I have been waiting for them to fix iOS 7 looks, esp. the icons; or for me to change my view of it. Neither happened. Now that I'm in need of a new phone, iOS 7 ugliness might be the deciding factor for my moving to another platform.
I think everyone who has the same opinions should speak up, here or elsewhere like social media, etc. hopefully our voices will be heard. It would be sad when people just silently ditch Apple for HTC or Samsung while it can be fixed.
You somehow believe that your opinion of how iOS 7 looks represents hundreds of millions of owners? Incredible ego! Apple sold 51 million iPhones with iOS 7 on them last quarter; it doesn't sound like people are switching to the other platforms that you mention in droves.
Very few people I know running iOS7 are happy. Definitely, a majority feel that 7 is a step backwards in many respects. The existence of this thread and countless others is further evidence of this. It's not a difficult concept to grasp. Clearly it is not universally welcomed. Time to accept that apple are capable of very significant mistakes.

EVERYONE I know running it is pleased with it.
Are they all below the age of 3?
Certainly, in fact the average age is probably around 50, most are business and tech professionals from around the globe. You have "evidence" of nothing.
If you do not like iOS 7, you can offer Apple feedback here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/. Or, you can continue to whine like a three year old. Seems to be your forte.

Most of the people I've met are either neutral or pleased. Average age of the people in question is probably about 60. The 92 year old man was neutral. I probably work with about 10-15 different people every day with iPhones.
No i didn't say so. Incredible reasoning skills! 51 mil doesn't change the fact that a lot of people hate the new OS look and feel. Why don't you try to google and do some read?
Again, i urge people who have the same opinion to speak up, probably else where more suitable. If they fix it, its only good for everyone.
51,000,000 in the last quarter alone, from any and all business & stock market rags. Which caused Apple stock to fall cause Wall Street was expecting 52 mil. Plus an over 85% adoption rate by users with previous versions. Seems like an awful lot of phones to me, if it were the abomination you claim. More so that it has been out long enough so everybody would know better and stayed away from the purported POS.
